the media release has been made, you can rely on that information.
Dont panic about ANZ not yet formally advising the existing customers, nothing will change for us until August, and they probably only need to give 30 days notice.

but they book out of the (T) bucket.

Thanks for this. Makes it so much easier to plan. Shows up on ITA Matrix as well a month at a time.

I just took this card on a trip to Cambodia. Had absolutely no issues using it while there (where card payment was available). Conversion rate pretty good.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

Just an update - I paid my first statement (after reaching the $500 req. within a week) on 2nd March and received my bonus points today. Reasonably quick turn around.

Note - I was a ANZ Black FF card holder previous to this sign up.

When did you apply and get approved? I think I might have to take a chance and see if I can get the extra points... probably will need the card anyway for June-July...
Its been a choice between this one and Coles Mastercard (currently offering me 20,000 FB points)..

Application was mid January and approval was a week later. Do they still offer the 60k points?

I'm not sure that the 60k link is working... says can't be found or expired, unless you have a different link?

Ah..... how annoying... was working last time I used it :p But you are right, its not working.... guess I will look at Coles then. I need a CC with no overseas fees.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

Applied for my card on 21st December, received card on 3rd January and made purchase for minimum spend that day. Had been checking for bonus points over past few days and they had not shown up, was planning on ringing to see what was going on and then received a text from ANZ this afternoon saying that my 60,000 bonus points are waiting to be credited and i needed to ring them and advise my FF number. Even though i had added this to my rewards account along with setting up auto-redemption, am now assuming this is treated differently.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

Just tested the exchange rate : 06/03/2017 USD 1,080.00 = AUD 1432.36

I did some transactions that were made on the same date 02/03, with the same merchant. The transactions matched the Visa daily rate to the cent, as did yours above for the 06/03 when it was posted.

$38.00 USD
$50.39 citibank plus Visa posted 06/03/17
$50.39 anz travellers Visa posted 06/03/17
$50.33 28 Degrees MC, 'posted' 02/03/17 ( i suspect posted 06/03 but is backdated on the transaction record)

This is a replica of my experience, having followed this thread to set up auto-redemption. Just to compound things I rang the number in the text message at 5 to 5, after being thrown around a couple of departments who said they couldn't do it, maybe online etc., they ended up saying about 5.05pm I needed to call the rewards number but it closed at 5pm!! They should at least give a correct number in the sms! Oh well, will see what tomorrow brings...

This is exactly how my afternoon panned out on the phone also. Just caffeinating myself now in preparation to go through it all again!

The promotion T&C said the points will be granted after 60 days, and they have followed up with you at 64 days, take off 2 days for transactions to be posted and reports are usually issued one day later, then it looks like ANZ is performing exactly as promised.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

I got told 12 weeks when I called today...was also told don't have to provide velocity number, they do it by name matching, I said that was not what I had heard, but he wouldn't take my velocity number.

I made it through to someone today who acknowledged that they already had my Velocity number on file and that the terms and conditions state 3 months for processing of bonus points. I couldn't be bothered going into it any further today so left it at that, for now.

they are wrong. the T&C stated "two months". I kept a copy of this when I applied and posted it here > Terms and Conditions

Happend to me as well, terrible experience. The key issue in here is that the ANZ bank people think this is an ANZ reward center's matter, while in fact this bonus point is coming directly from the bank. Therefore you need to provide the bank/card service with your Velocity number, even if you have given your Velocity number to the ANZ reward centre. Took me many phone calls to get this sorted. So frustrated, even got directed from the ANZ Reward centre to Westpac twice when they said they will direct me back to the card service so that I can give out my Velocity number.

But all is good now, got my point but probably will not bite another offer from ANZ in the future, the coordination betwen their divisions is absolutely horible.
