Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

I think ANZ says 3 months because the system checks whether you have met the eligible spend criteria at the end of the statement cycle. So maybe it's 2 months from that date.
I don't know exactly which department sends the points but I receive a text message from ANZ Rewards a few days ago advising me to provide my Velocity number.
I spoke to ANZ Credit Card Solutions Team last month and they said I don't need to provide my Velocity number.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

This seems to have expired in the last day or two? I'm using the link in the first post. If I go directly via the ANZ site there are no offers with bonus points.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

Yeah looks like it's ended. Hopefully they will have another points offer.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

Has anyone on this one redeemed their flight, then canceled the card before the flight date?

Is the flight still valid or do they can that on you when you kill the card?

Asking for a friend....

I booked the flights and received etickets. Haven't read the fine print but I wouldn't think the two are linked.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

Just received an email asking for my Velocity # even though i've got auto-redemption turned on - having to call up to get it added to my account for the points to post.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

My 60k finally posted. I got the same email as nickomac above and had to call up to get the number added. They posted a week after i called.

nice one! I'm still yet to receive mine almost 2 weeks since the email - I'll wait a little longer as I've still got ~3 days until I hit the 60 days since spend reached. Do you happen to know which department you spoke to? I got someone who kept referring to my Velocity number as a Qantas number and when asked if he meant Velocity said "same thing"

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

I called the number in the email which was the rewards number I think. They then put me through to banking solutions or soemthing along those lines where they treated it as a customer complaint so they could escalate the issue. I do know they said that it's the banking side that needs the velocity number as they are the ones who issue the bonus points and not the rewards team. So be prepared to maybe go in circles a couple of times.

Thanks for that! I'll leave it over the weekend to see if they post, if not i'll chase them next week!

I also got the email, so I contacted them through Secure Messages in Internet Banking, because their phone waits were too long, and I couldnt be bothered going in circles like everyone else. After the first person ignored my actual request, and posted a canned response, the 2nd person actually paid attention and informed me that he passed my Velocity Member number to the right dept, and my points will arrive soon. But that was 8 days ago.

I will give it another week before annoying them again.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

These guys have executed this very poorly! I have conservatively spent over an hour on the phone telling multiple people my velocity number now. After the last assurance I was also given the option of registering a complaint... which I have done. It wasn't about the points timing or anything for me, just the poor communication sending me emails and messages at different times telling me to call up and every time I did, no one seemed to know what was going on! We'll see if the points post in about a fortnight as promised?

I'm going through the exact same process after about 5 calls. It's infuriating.

I went through the process a couple of times following receipt of a text message and then an email saying my points were ready. First time they said my number and nothing left to do, rung after getting the email and again told they had my number and they would post after 3 months so I left it, next time she said they had my number and they should post within 2 weeks. They posted on Monday, which was approximately the 2 weeks.

So I would say they should post for you after the fortnight, tedious process!

Can you get this the bonus points if you are already an ANZ Frequent Flyer Black cardholder?

I did, having held the anz black (not the FF black, but that shouldn't make any difference)

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

data point:
card approved mid-February
minimum spend met early March
points arrived this Monday

it's not all bad in the ANZ kingdom after all

wow! you have the magic touch :-)

admittedly, my first round of points (ANZ black) were painless. Application process was super easy each time too. When there's something out of the ordinary they are an absolute mess

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight

this one seems to be all over

Unfortunately the promotional offer you have selected cannot be found or has expired.

Re: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure now 60,000 velocity points; 1 domestic return flight
