I had a banana Nokia 8110 phone, loved that thing.

Def getting a iPhone 6 when it's released.

I've been waiting for the product release since my 4S contract finished in December. I'm inclining towards the 6, not 6+.

I'm not monogamous when it comes to phones having used every iphone , android and big phablets. I now use nexus 5. 400 bucks outright directly from Google. More features, better specs and longer battery life than any iPhone ever.

Apple is clearly relying on their brand to continue sales. No innovation here folks :(

I can guarantee the brushed metal of my HTC One certainly feels beefier than all the previous iPhone I've had and I'm absolutely stoked with my switch from iOS to android.

Back on topic, I don't mind at all a larger phone. I currently carry A 5 inch HTC in an Otterbox Commuter case without dramas. Its a lot easier for web browsing and typing

I have a Galaxy Note 3 which is a pretty damn big phone, but I have it in case that holds my credit cards, transport cards, building access card, and can hold cash notes folded down. Now I have no need for a wallet, and the big screen is NICE, HD videos look spectacular on it.

Very happy to have not given a cent to Apple yet.

I got the iPhone 5 on contract when first released now I am out of contract and waiting for new iPhone 6 size is an issue for me I do like phones to fit in my pants pockets
If the trend follows then in 24 months I will upgrading to the iPhone 7

Got a phone call from Jnr#1 asking me to try and get on Vodafone, Optus or Telstra to pre-order the 6+ All three sites crashing for the last hour. I'm out.

Gen Y just won't wait.

Just looked at the Telstra site. I see what you mean.

Data limits on plans seem to have got a little more generous than in the past. But I think I might stick to my $50 plan and buy outright, assuming apple lets me checkout...

Yup, tried to get onto Telstra myself to look at the prices, and assumed the site was down for that reason. I'll wait a few days until the youthful enthusiasm has been gratified.

Hard to suggest large screen phones don't go into your (trouser, YMMV ;) ) pocket ... I manage to get an iPad mini into mine, at a pinch.

Apparently women's clothes have smaller pockets which aren't actually meant to fit anything in them...:mrgreen:

Just got a confirmation email for my on-line order from Telstra - iphone 6 128GB Space grey on their XL plan. My current phone is only 16GB and I've still got 4.55GB free space after 23 months of usage  ... for an extra $2/month I can't see the logic of not getting the extra 112GB.

The Samsung G3 is about to be dropped kicked to No1 son

# After 12 months I can trade the phone in and get a new one free of charge :D
