Hi cove, I would not consider using either Velocity nor QFF points on a coast to coast flight ... Different strokes for different folks.Well Serfty we endured XFA,XFB and the Embraer 190 I think it was (the one where the flight attendant read a book).
I would battle to get Mrscove onboard again but I am a devil for punishment so I go with them domestically when it suits me.
I still have 2 commas in the Velocity account and I am holding on tightly to my RED status.
The ATO thread has given our taxpaying citizens choices so thank you js once again.
Being in Perth we generally go on SQ but this month we are doing a QF run to LAX.
Having posted that, bother XFA and XFB have gone to "meet their maker" or some aeronautical variation of that. (Not that I minded them in the early days.) E190's are fine for short trips but not transcontinental, similar in that way to 737's.
