I hope this doesn't spread to Melbourne. Is it still the home to the largest Greek population outside Greece?

Well Eve Black was of Greek Heritage. So she would be similar no doubt.

However I have many mates of Greek Heritage and their views pretty much mirror the typical community range.

Reports that a Australian Olympian has tested positive. Yesterday there was a report that it was a Basketball player as a player from the US tested positive after playing Australia in a warm up game

One new local case in Brisbane (apparently in home iso) linked to the incursion from Sydney.

Genomic testing back on the airport employee - and they think they have missed a chain of transmission. Oops….

The retiring CHO said it might have been another international traveller they missed. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 😂

The link indicated Qld closed to Victoria from 1am Saturday.

So just enough time for AFL players to hub in Qld.

And this also means more movement of ‘essential’ workers around the city than is probably really needed….

Luxury brands Gucci and Louis Vuitton are 'essential' under NSW COVID restrictions…

Despite the New South Wales lockdown being extended by at least two weeks, there is still much confusion about what is considered "essential" shopping.

There are very few reasons why residents of Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour are allowed to leave their homes under the state's COVID-19 restrictions.

One of them is to shop for food or other "essential" goods and services.

But the meaning of that word is being stretched to include designer handbags, luxury watches, $10,000 dresses, trendy sneakers, plush toys, cosmetics, fancy stationery and the latest video games.

He could have been infected in Spain where he lives. ABC news reported he tested positive in Spain as part of the protocol prior to flying to Tokyo.

Yep, Kerry looked more than a little annoyed that people are still moving about. Surely enough is enough Gladys, time to lock down properly

These brands deserve what they get for remaining open to in person shopping at a time like this.

Video games, well, one needs entertainment so does that really matter?

Always found it odd that restrictions apply to all retail here in Victoria (e.g. JB is C&C only) but Costco can remain open and sell all sorts of items like TVs and Computers alongside food

numbers not going in right direction.......so why not change something.

They say evaluating every hour, well hmm how about moving towards full lockdown, this lockdown-lite not cutting it seems.

But I'm no CHO.
