Brad Hazzard very irritated about the Byron guy, and treading cautiously not to mess with the investigation. Sounds like he was really up to no good... and I don't expect that just means being an anti-vaxxer, or taking a look at real estate. I'm going to take a stab and say he was out of a high risk LGA and attempting to distribute a substance or more from a stagnated Sydney market into Byron and GC areas. Apparently he may have tried to escape from the hospital overnight as well.

I don't disagree with this entirely, although that may well mean another 2+ months of this lockdown, that makes me think how NSWeshies will go, very tough times ahead.

Why don't ppl wakeup & get down to get their jab, I reckon more go to the old Myer Boxing day sale.
Yes we've had 250k jabs in a day, but c'mon ppl FFS, there couldn't be a more clear way outta this shamozzle.

The NSW Premier is moving toward 6m jabs (so less than 50% of eligible shots) and lift some restrictions probably end August - not disclosing which restrictions, but my guess is return unvaccinated kids to school and return to work for those in LGAs of no concern.

I was looking to go to Western Plains Zoo in Oct and HTI by Xmas, all of these trips are gone now.

I was thinking of moving the trips to April next year but then it meant I will not be protected by the free flexible flight changes by QF and VA. So I may as well cancel those trips.

Afaik tests conducted is just that, so you're seeing the higher results from Sunday's 130k testing, presumably mostly tradies doing their compulsory testing (which is a worry in itself), before falling back to the 90k for a Monday.

There possibly is a lag - the wording has always seemed vague - but even if you tried to average it down its a massive jump in positivity rate. 25% doesn't just disappear.

But with Moderna to be rolled out shortly, and the only [currently reported] side effect being a 'sore arm' - I think I agree that there won't be much room for excuses.

The border won’t open until its zero (or the 80% national figure which won’t be until 2022). They can jump up and down. Andrews/Anna/McGowan all Labor and all have the same approach.

Looking at Feb/March. That’s a bloody long time shut.

Yup NSW will be locked out of all other states indefinitely as we won't get to 0 community cases again. When we reach 50/70/80 % vaccination rate, we may get some (?what) relaxation of restrictions. If I can go out for dinner at a restaurant in 2021 I would be happy. Would be nice to see my elderly parents again who live in Adelaide. Thank God I made a quick visit in late Feb this year to see them.

Rubbish, there’s been myocarditis just like Pfizer. Thankfully our hysterical media have clearly realised it’s better to stop reporting all the adverse reactions of all 3 vaccines here so sensationally and even No News Corp appears to be toeing the line, and Sky ‘News’ YouTube ban will slap some sense into them.

I just think people are increasingly becoming fed up.

In the recent Brisbane lockdown we saw a kids birthday party down the road from us and many people ‘visiting’ other people as well. People wearing masks and doing their best but I feel that as people get vaccinated they are taking considered risks…. I don’t know I think they’ve almost lost the public up here….

Mass murderers? Which media has done that here? Likely Dan Andrews is the only person that nasty comment has been thrown at. As far as filming in kitchens, if you are referring to the pregnant lady as that's the only thing I can think of, then the family filmed it and provided it to the media I believe, or must have invited them in, in order for that to happen.

Maybe media spin but it seems he only sought medical treatment and hence tested when he got very sick and needed help. And his teen children have reported by the media to be positive.

All the major media outlets (excluding ABC) followed the bondi limo driver around, filmed him working, filmed him at the airport, filmed themselves ringing the intercom of his building and filmed his wife washing the dishes in the kitchen.

Similar issues with the removalists and their family.

No it's not, we hit 80% & it's all over, as seen in other parts of the world. It's so straight forward it's not funny.

On your theory, the gov will slow down the vac rate & keep borders closed for what ???? an election, yeah the public will love the gov for reneging on opening at 80%.
They won't be refusing to opening up borders. Australia is in what 80th place on some list of vac rate, by years end the world will be more open than now. And we'll be following.

You know you are allowed to state you don't think we'll get to 80% & that is has nothing to do with the gov election.
