At the time Gladys was calling for Qld border to reopen we had less than 5 cases a day from international arrivals. And since the border did reopen on 10th July , no NSW resident ought a single case of Covid-19 to Queensland.

Also about WA, Scomo went so far as to join Clive Palmer in his High Court legal challenge to the WA border closure. Why no legal challenge for SA?
Totally coincidental that the two states with the highest per capita political donations also happen to be the 2 states that left mega gambling venues open (Crown Casino & The Star) until the public backlash got too great. Same two states not to close their borders.
Remember that late in the evening Gladys mocked a journalist asking why international travellers faced mandatory hotel quarantine when they came from countries with a fraction of the community transmission as Melbourne - yet travellers from Melbourne simply walk off the plane and onto public transport to all areas of NSW.
Seven hours later Gladys back-flipped and announced that travellers from Melb were to be stopped, just as an about to be published Australian News Poll found 90%+ (I think it was) wanted mandatory quarantine.
