NO WONDER QLD PREMIER CLOSED BORDERS TO GREATER SYDNEY BASED ON THESE NUMBERS, THE DEATHTRAP OF GREATER SYDNEY COULD WIPE OUT ALL OF QUEENSLAND. HOSPITALS OVERRUN IN DAYS AND MARTIAL LAW WOULD BE ENFORCED. BRISBANE WOULD BE LIKE THE SETTING OF THE WALKING DEAD.
I was thinking last night how all this will be judged in the future. I reckon some of these border decisions will rank alongside the toilet roll wars for silliness ........

For Vic Sutton just mentioned that Nov 8 easings are on track to still occur.

They will not be eased earlier. If cases stay very low, there may be some adjustments to some measures.

With mas wearing as part of one of his answers it would see that mask wearing will remain till 28 days in a row of zero cases. Indicated that transmission risk was reduced by 50% if two people both are wearing masks, and one is contagious.

Active cases in Vic getting less and less now....

While test results are down today, at 15,998 it is still at a very good level and moreso as swabs taken on the weekend are normally lower.

One new local case that will be reported by NSW in tomorrow's figures.

NSW health authorities say a new case of COVID-19 linked to the Hoxton Park cluster in south-west Sydney has been reported since 8:00pm yesterday.

The case will be included in tomorrow's reporting of NSW virus numbers as 8:00pm marks the cut-off time for NSW Health's official reporting period.

NSW Health said the new case was a child who visited the Flip Out Prestons Indoor Trampoline Park at the same time as another child who had since tested positive for the virus.

The children visited the trampoline park on Sunday, October 25
.

Evidently today's zero new local cases today for Australia for the first time in almost five months that this had been achieved.

So June 4 if this graph is accurate.

A viewpoint on Victoria’s quarantine program....

Peta Credlin, by all accounts has undertaken a quite in depth investigation. But looking at the “holes in the Swiss cheese” model as to why things go catastrophically wrong, it always seemed she was particularly focussed on one of the holes in the Swiss cheese more than all of the others.

I think we need to wait for the inquiry report to pass judgement on it.

This is hilarious thanks for the Monday AM laugh! :) A Peta Crudlin special investigation on the lowest rating news outlet in the whole country. Ooooooo. I just wonder what Murdoch’s, sorry Crudlins conclusion was. Couldn’t possibly hazard a guess...

You are probably not aware that Peta Credlin was trained in the law.The article is based on reading the transcripts of the evidence given to the Coates Inquiry, phone records and documents tabled with the inquiry.Plus interviewing people involved such as the CEO of the Security Company sub contracted originally to provide the security of the Rydges hotel. He began complaining of problems in the hotel and his company sacked at the beginning of May.
You certainly won't get all this info from the ABC,Guardian etc.
And by the way she doesn't just concentrate on the hotel quarantine but does interview people with knowledge of contact tracing and the problems there in Victoria.

If you don't find out how these 2 things happened how will you ensure it doesn't happen again.

I have never liked donuts so much before :)
Well, I feel I can safely out myself and say I’ve always loved Krispy Kreme’s! And my blood sugars and cholesterol levels are perfect according to a blood test two weeks ago. And I’m the same weight I was as a thin teen. The answer is all about restraint and being a treat.

This is brilliant news for Victoria and for Australia.

We love a Daniel's Donut, so many good varieties. TODCO in Oakleigh also does a very good (but $$) donut.
