Actually she is the CHO with probably the most training. She is a qualified Paediatrician with a few papers on asthma in children. She is also a qualified public Health Physician and has a graduate diploma in Epidemiology.
But there is no training unfortunately in common sense.

In NSW no omicron cases in hospital, no evidence that omicron causes serious illness. Delta cases bubbling along at stable levels, hospitals coping fine. Everything is open and people arent hiding under the doona.

There hasn't been a death world wide with the Omicron variant. We only have 1 person in hospital with covid and they arent there because of Covid. So WA and NT have shut us out, maybe we shut out Vic, NSW and ACT. Stupid.

Just test on arrival for NSW, VIC and ACT and isolate (yea right). Then a day 6 test (sure thing).

SA officially becomes another nutbag state. Who are they getting their advice / information from….? Clearly they are clued into something that is behind withheld from other states.

I truly hope Tassie and QLD are more rational.

All knowledge and information (limited admittedly) points to an even milder variant and likely reasonable vaccine protection. So where are they getting their disaster scenario information from I wonder?
