As of today, a rapid antigen test can be used.
Acting Chief Superintendent Chris Stream said two men presented PCR test results at Brisbane airport on Friday.
"They produced a text on a telephone and then subsequent to that, police investigate that in conjunction with our counterparts in health and they were revealed to be fake," he said.
"They were both issued with $4,135 fines.
