Avianca Brazil Amigo status match

After struggling to find any reference to the 5 flights to get a card in my email correspondence or online, I decided to take it to the next level (I really want a physical *A SG card).

I've spent the last hour trying to communicate with Avianca via their online chat (Portuguese only). After waiting for an hour in the queue, the outcome of the chat seemed to be "I'm not sure if we post membership cards outside brazil. Please e-mail to follow up"

I must say it was quite a bit of fun using google translate however the fact you can't copy and paste out of the Avianca online chat window did make things a bit tough.

Will advise how my email goes...

Typing out entire Portuguese sentences for Google Translate must be such a pain, so thanks for the doing the hard work exceladdict! Hoping the outcome is good.

Ah I did only skim the t&cs quite quickly, I do have a habit of missing what's right in front of me though.

Posting from SQ lounge in BKK. Have TG flt BKK to PNH in Y this afternoon. TG website e-ticket. Website Accepted 06 in the pull down partner field and FF number. All good at TG*AG check-in desk. Invited to Royal Silk lounge on TG BP. Priority bag tags and extra weight. CSA said that I was the first 06 pax she had checked-in. *G shows in their system. Wasn't asked for card at either TG checkin or Royal Silk lounge. Due to meagre offerings in Royal Silk, i headed around to the SQ SKL lounge. Showed BP -which has O6*G ########## printed on it. SKL lounge Angels - (and they are Angels) also said i was the first O6 FF to come to the SKL lounge. When asked if I had a card, I said, "no... its just new". Angels nodded, and they seemed to know that O6 was a new *A partner. Thoroughly welcoming at SKL and as usual, much, much better food, beverages and ambience than TG lounge. Cheers, PJ

I can confirm that you are use a screenshot of your card (taken from the site online) and it would work just fine.

I recently used this at the following airports & lounges -

SYD - SQ Lounge & NZ Lounge

SIN - SQ Lounge & TG Lounge

DEL - AI Lounge & SQ Lounge

and there was no issue in getting access at any of these places. The check-in agent just looked at the photo of the card in my phone and that's it.

Sorry to dissapoint, and this was kind of anticipated, but I haven't received a response, let alone a physical card.

Will keep pushing.

Is it just me or does the interim/printable card shown on the website seem dodgy, with the expiry year actually covered by other text?
