Can't see the flights at all when you put in BKK-MEL but when starting from different destinations (e.g DXB), I can see the flight...

Yes, you are correct. The availability is wide open! I swear it wasn't yesterday when I tried to book. Either way, initially I emailed them telling them about the issue and their response is as follows:

Dear Seritonin,
It is a pleasure to greet you.
Regarding your request, we would like to inform you, by these means we may assist you creating a booking when you found an error message in our web site while you tried the redemption process.
In this case, we invite you to perform the redemption process through one of the following means:

  • Through our web site in the section Enjoy → Air Tickets logging in with your username and password.
  • Contacting to our Call Center; keep in mind your Pin Call Center will be required.
  • Visiting one of our Local Offices and this process can only be performed by the card holder.
Keep in mind, if you made your reservation in our Call Center or Sales Offices, you must pay a service fee that is not collected in our web site.
Also, we invite you to visit our web site in the section Tools and Tips in the Videos option, you can validate step by step the redemption process for redeeming your tickets with a flexible payment (miles plus money) .
If you have any other inquiry, do not hesitate to contact us back.
Best Regards,

JT, just delete some of these posts, they don't seem to get your message so time to send a new one...

Panicked with all this doom and gloom re TG booking MEL-BKK.

But happy to report booked online just now - 2 J MEL-BKK Xmas week 80k/per tix (well points and pay).

Amex even went thru without a blip. (i think they are used to me and avianca now).

Great feeling with another redemption in the back pocket!

(also smiled to myself.... shows outbound on 777-300 .... HAH! has never happened in 3 round trips!)

still like my lifemiles....

Whose that with? I remember when I looked from Saigno (HCMC) it was about $US 120 and I thought that was expensive!

Ditto...then went onto the TG website (after receiving etickets) and selected 1A And 1K :)

can find lots of SYD-BKK F around the dates i'm looking for but BKK-NRT connecting on is rather rare... unless they're not flying F on that route in mid 2016.
