BKK to BNE all on SQ J in late December. See main thread for discussion on how I got the screenshot to work given website issues

Just got 2 * J, AC BNE-YVR. 80,000 points + US$1377. I found the flights on the website, but it wouldn't let me book them. Sent email to Lifemiles, and they asked for Passport photos, flight details, screen shots of availability & error, and details of points and payments. Received the reply and travel documents the next day with instructions to call for payment. I called the US 1800 number through skype and paid with 28degrees card. Had 1 drop out when he tried to transfer to payments, but I called again immediately and got the same agent. On the phone for a total of ~15 minutes. Now just need to buy enough points to get back.

Having secured 1 x F and 2 x J class tickets over 11months ago with Thai, Syd -Kix for March 31 2017 i had to secure another seat for son no.2. After checking daily and setting up seat alerts on expert flyer i was worried that it was going to be near impossible to get a 4th ticket. About 6 weeks out either leg syd-bkk & bkk -kix would show up but not at the same time. I eventually got 1 F Bkk-Kix for 50k points. It wasnt until 22 hours before the flight syd-bkk a J seat showed up which i grabbed for 40k points. (Much to my relief) . The 4th ticket was 90k points in total however considering i got the other tickets F ticket 50 k points syd-bkk-kix and the 2 J seats syd-bkk-kix for 40k points each i couldnt complain. In Bkk the buggy was waiting for us with all 4 names and we were driven to first class lounge.

An upcoming single one-way ticket, done on the net in 5 minutes with no fancy screen-shot stuff:

BNE-BKK-CDG on Thai, for 85000 miles + about $70

BNE-BKK in J (787)
BKK-CDG in F (A380)

I am bloody happy!! Needed a way to get back out of Australia, which is always harder than the other way. And have never experienced Thai F - hoping it is ok??

The A380 F experience is the best introduction to TG. Found the crew to be extra attentive on these flights (I'm talking long haul to Europe, not short intra Asia sectors). I have same route booked as well ;) enjoy!

Keeping it simple for me. Only 16K LM in my account these days.

But just did MEL-BKK-SGN over Christmas for 1 pax in J. Took 2 days to get done but call centre called today and all went through well.

Ended up booking my ticket on United and the wifes on LM. About time I burnt some miles!

Just booked PER-SIN-BKK-MUC in F (PER-SIN-BKK on SQ in J, BKK-MUC on TG in F) for 2x pax in December. Combined cost 230K plus $181.28US taxes & fees.
The combo showed up on the Lifemiles website under First, but wouldn't go through to the payment screen, so had to do a screenshot booking.

Good value LH booking (T-14)

IST-FRA-MUC-HKG J / J / F 75K miles + $US92

Even better because it is priced at 75k rather than 115k...

(please transplant to discussion thread if necessary / starts to generate a trail...)

Did a screenshot request for 2 in J - MEL-BKK-KIX-BKK-MEL for two weeks. Got the itinerary tonight & they changed my initial flights to MEL-SIN-KIX (sure, why not!) but otherwise all perfect. 80k each & ~$250ish after a call using the US 1800 number via Skype just now taking about 10 minutes.

Managed to squeeze in SYD-BKK-HND & CTS-BKK-SYD before the price increase for 160k points. Pretty happy with that.

Screenshot method
SYD-BKK-NRT, then KIX-BKK-SYD, all F on TG. 100K + USD175 well spent. Called the Bogota call centre for payment, took 35mins all up as apparently, they didn't have English speaking staff to process payment on Sat. Anyway, it was relatively painless, just a lot of waiting.
Easter 2018 sorted, hope the cherry blossoms are out by 1st week if April. :)

NH J HND-SYD 40,000 points + USD69.19 for 5 May 2018.

Of note only because this should be the furthest date bookable before the new rates kick in later today Aussie time (assuming the "unidirectional" quirk doesn't end up eventuating (*). 4 May is still available if anyone wants it.

(*) Which it did. So still 40,000 points, while the opposite direction is now 50,000. Return is now 80,000 if originating in HND, 100,000 ex SYD.

3 people SYD-HND-JFK with ANA in J departing early June. Good deal for 80k points each. Found seats via United - tried to book on Friday - got the dreaded error message. Seats went missing but re-appeared yesterday. Booked and confirmed. Might need to enter all passport details for USA itinerary? Never got an ANA ticket - chasing up today.
