Gum is part of north America for lifemiles so it's an interesting cheap but long way to get to America when combined with usdm

Hello all

Still trying out different options for IST-PER.

I was thinking of IST-KUL on Turkish airlines business then KUL-PER on airasia - 65000 points + $125
Or IST-DXB Business then DXB-BKK lands at 7am'ish, BKK-PER departs 23:59. This is 2 separate tickets due to the layover, therefore very expensive!
Or Economy IST-PER for 50000 points

Please find something!

Think outside the box, get something IST-DXB then look at a paid fare, some pretty good deals for one way ex DXB at times like CX J or well under 2K

$2040 is the cheapest currently with CX. That's a little much for the wife and I unfortunately!

Very interesting route that bcworld found me! IST-LAD (angola) then LAD-PER via Joburg. Adds up to approx 130,000 points each ticket though which again is a lot. I love how your program can find those kinds of routes!!

You posted that question in the USDM thread...I strangely assumed you were spending USDMs. You also didn't say you needed two seats.

Yeah but you only need 40% of those points, so 52,000 each.

Next time we'll reroute you through the Moon and with a quick layover by the time the Earth will spin we'll shoot you directly to Perth )) Frequent Flyer Community is all about extending the pleasure to make your trip as prolonged and as CRAZY AS POSSIBLE )))

All kidding aside did you look into the option of round trip from DUB-PERTH for £ 609. 70 or 749€ for the round-trip;
Amsterdam might work as well, which would not only get you home, but as well will provide you with a return leg to Europe. I'll try to paste the link, but if that doesn't work, send me a PM

Hi guys, any tips on how to get 50,000 LM quickly and cheaply?? Any convoluted ways of transferring AX MR points to something else to something else to get LM?

I knew I should have bought some points last month :(

If you have, 33,333 points at present you could book a ticket and cancel to get the points. If you have any points at all you could keep booking and cancelling tickets, progressively working up to 50,000 points. That said, it'll cost you $50 each time in cancellation fees. If you have no points, other than getting a LifeMiles CC because you are a foreigner, I have no idea, sorry.

I wouldn't recommend that as you could suffer from LMs average customer service. I have cancelled a few flights and although most of the time haven't had too many dramas I am still waiting on a tax refund after nine months.

Not sure if this may interest you, Alanslegal:

Avianca 25% Partner Points To LifeMiles Conversion Bonus June 2 ? 30, 2014 | LoyaltyLobby

It's likely not the best value, unless you're sitting on a pile of points in those respective programmes, but depending on how much you're in a hurry (or how much of a cash thrift you want to be in the case). It could give you at least the seed points you need to generate the rest required.

re: Avianca "Life Miles" - New FF program in *A

Can anyone help - I am trying to cancel an award ticket. I phoned yesterday, their credit card system was not working. I phoned again today, they said a different system is not working and try to call back in 2 hours. I did that and they transferred me to someone else who said they could not do it and hung up. I am getting really deperate, its an 85,000 miles flight so I want those points back. Would be grateful for any advice _ PS am ringing US call centre

re: Avianca "Life Miles" - New FF program in *A

I've had much better results calling the El Salvador call centre.
