Turns out citi were declining the transaction....

Payment has now been taken, however I received a message stating "we have charged your card, a team member will process your purchase".

Is that normal now? How long does it usually take?

It should be instant. Did the mile appear in your account?

Nope... Nothing has shown up as yet. No emails or confirmation. Money has been charged though

help needed, i just missed a flight (no show) booked with asiana frm pek-icn-syd.
what can i do?
1. can i go to the airport the next day and request to board the next flight with asiana?
2. or i must call lifemiles to fix the issue?

You'll need to call LifeMiles. It's likely the booking has now been cancelled. Good luck.

You'll need to call LifeMiles. It's likely the booking has now been cancelled. Good luck.

While the booking will have been cancelled, I believe LM allows 'no-shows' and the ticket can still be cancelled (miles returned to the account), or changed, up to one year from the date of issue.

If seats are available on today's flight you may be able to pay the change fee and travel - but you'll have to do this through LM... not Asiana at the airport.

I got a confirmation email from LM confirming the registration of extra 10% bonus. Not that I'll buy it this time but just to let people know that if you have registered you should get a confirmation email.

I am currently making a few redemptions for Avianca flights in SA next year. Now wondering whether to top up my account.

I got the email too but its still showing up with 135% max bonus not 145%

The promotion T&C's state "...Bonus will be credited no later than one week after purchasing your miles on the promotion". Note also, the extra 10% bonus is based on the miles purchased excluding the 135% bonus miles.

i'm sure it's just the language translator at work but did anyone else realise the email said: Remember to buy miles from LM1.000 up to LM150.000, and the more you buy, you may receive a bonus up to 135%.

so you may receive this bonus, or you may not..............

It was rectified with relative ease (about 30 mins). Staff member said that it's currently being processed and had me hold for about 15 mins while she pushed it forward.

No, you can book for anybody. I booked for my sisters who now uses her husband's surname. No problem at all.

Yeah I knew that I was just making a joke. Albeit a bad one. As in.. You might receive a bonus, or might not.... ?? Haha. Cue the :shock:

What routing are you looking for? There's very few options for USA flights with LMs.
