BA Avios subscriptions

I'm thinking that the triad of Qantas, Avios and Singapore should be a good cover for most bases....what do you guys think? Any more than 3 and I'll go round the twist I reckon. Thoughts? Ta again,
Don't ignore the opportunities with some FF programs to redeem on partner Airlines not in their particular alliance.

Besides the ones you mention I'm also in Air Canada Aeroplan and Alaska Milage Plan. With both you can buy miles / points with substantial bonuses from time to time and their partner networks are really interesting and useful. Air Canada in Star Alliance of course and Alaska joining OW.

There are several current threads on Aeroplan you can read up on.

None - brand new account that I tried to link to my BA Account.
Perhaps just create a new account?

Make sure you drop the leading zero on your mobile or SMS 2FA will not work. I discovered that on Aegean signing up this morning but was able to get codes via email and then amended my mob number.

I also signed up for QR this morning and dropping the zero worked for 2FA.

I can't create a new account as my name, address, email and phone number are associated with an existing account. I have conformed with the customer service people that I can't engage with Privilege Club in any way while my existing account is under investigation, and they agree with me that after several months, it is unlikely that any investigation is actually happening. TBH, I have given up caring. I transferred my Citibank points to SQ instead and can live without wifi on the (hopefully) few occasions I use their planes. It just presses my buttons when I see people sing their praises when I don't think much of any of their offerings.

I suspect it is to avoid the suggestion that revenue passengers could just buy a ticket for a lower price by doing it through Avios - they want to make sure that Avios customers have some kind of prior connection to the airline.
Update!
Those b*stards :) at Marks & Spencer refunded my bloody money!!! B/c I didn't pick the item up....faarrkk!
Anyone want to transfer me a single point? Happy to pay! Happy Xmas all.

Groupon US (available through the Avios eStore) is another option - you can buy a Local voucher deal for as low as $1.

I'm in the UK at the moment although about to go away for a few days but happy to pick up a small item for you if you want - if not I can probably transfer you a few points

Edit:
OK see post below about 15 pound surcharge. Still happy to collect something from M&S - I have a click and collect order at Hammersmith on the 4th January

No problems but I don’t drink coffee but it will be a great gift to someone

I'm on a monthly subscription atm. Are they increasing for current subscribers or only new ones? Doesn't say on that page.
My understanding is that after May 1st all monthly subscrptions will go up ( including current ones ).The only way to avoid this increase is to pay for a yearly subscription before May 1st.

Have they emailed their current subscribers ? I haven't received anything
