Sometimes I hate and love these encryptions... just an hour in my lecture zoning out and trying to decipher this hahah. I'm stumped :(

I am not suggesting that this be the new AFF code for status runs. I was just having a bit of fun.

If it helps to prolong the agony I was referring to HBA-CBR. So now you can spend another hour working out the code knowing the answer. Don't forget the clue: "curse you QF"

Re: Best Status Run options after 1 July 2014

It helped to cut short the agony JessicaTam - why waste an hour of my time on something I'm not likely to work out :(. Curse you cyphers :o. When God gave our brains for that type of stuff, I was out playing sport and my brother got my share. I'm sure if I showed it to him, he'd laugh and have it worked out in a minute. Smug cough wouldn't tell me how he wiorked it out either :D :o

Eeek, my 9,000th post - one for prosterity ;)

Oh I wasn't expecting it to be the new standard, I just wanted to try and crack it. I enjoy trying to solve things.

Ah I see how the clue fits in now.

Re: Best Status Run options after 1 July 2014

The challenge now is to invent a new language/code that only we can understand and QF can't - not until they see some more bookings with 12 connections within 2 days after 1 July...

Re: Best Status Run options after 1 July 2014

I'm sure we can encode in a far more complex manner - don't tempt me, the prospect is making me moist. But i doubt very few will get it, without assistance and endless PMs etc. But is that the point? Do we really want to make this so difficult that not even our AFF friends can work it out, despite the constant threat that QFF lurkers might understand it and dob us in to Yield Mgt and their data mining propellor heads?

BTW, JT, I thought this thread was entitled the 'best QF status run options'?? I take that to mean status earning via any means, not just on QF. If not, we should separate the thread into QF metal and non QF metal.

Me too!
Have not need to do status runs before but with the new changes, will probably need to now:(

You don't need to go the USA. You can do them from where you are based.

The thread is posted in the QF sub-forum so it relates only to QF.
