Just checked the ATO app - no discount on tax offer, at least not yet.
Assuming that they count for lifetime status.15 SC that gets you closer to LTP is a no brainer!
Or at least rollover (for those lucky enough to get Status Keeper 2.0).Assuming that they count for lifetime status.
Looks like they do not count. Ah, no point in getting it now!Assuming that they count for lifetime status.
Yeah, not counting for lifetime status makes the offer a lot less attractive for me; how do they expect me to get to LTP if they keep doing things like this?Looks like they do not count. Ah, no point in getting it now!
Status Credits: 15 Status Credits will be credited to your account within three days of your completed application for a reward. Status Credits will not contribute towards any Platinum or Platinum One Bonus Rewards, Loyalty Bonuses, Lifetime status and any Qantas Status Accelerator. Status Credits are not transferable and will be governed by the Qantas Frequent Flyer terms and conditions.

Qantas has just provided another reason for reduced vax uptake - no contribution of SC to LTP.Yeah, not counting for lifetime status makes the offer a lot less attractive for me; how do they expect me to get to LTP if they keep doing things like this?
I don't need another 1,000 points and the $20 flight discount can't be used in conjunction with "bookings which include the use of a flight credit or Qantas Points". As I have a number of credits to use up, the $20 is of little interest either.
Thanks, I had missed the link. Got it now.The link (scroll up) says it starts at 8am AEST tomorrow.
