I'd wait. It's a long time until April and there's bound to be several offers in that time. Doubt you'll do worse than 80% and maybe the AUD will have gone up a bit by then.

Only bought on my partner's account last promo at 100%. Going to grab another 150k on this one in my account. I refuse to buy united miles unless 100% bonus or 50% discount :D good to wait a bit.

100% bonus is back. 150k miles for US $2,821.88.

Didn't plan to buy any miles but this deal looks too good to be ignored. I'll test some route options to see if the value is there.

This looks to be a pretty good deal.

MEL-BKK one way business class for AUD762 (excluding airport taxes) - pretty sweet. (The Aussie $ price includes the UA 'recovery tax' for buying the miles and assumes an exchange rate of .74)

I used an exchange of 0.72 and still looks good.

Not that it's an issue but a little disappointing that the only availability one sees in SE Asia is TG.

Any experience in how long the miles take to hit the account?

Purchased last night but nothing yet...? And the flight I want leaves Saturday...

Well thats interesting.

I got the purchase receipt but it says at the start of the email they will email once the purchase is complete.

Also tried the logout/login and no dice on that one. First time I've experienced such an issue.

Also SYD-BKK-HKG in F for ~$AU1,000 looks not bad.
