I had the BA F burger and TBH it wasn’t that bad, I don’t have a complex pallet guys ;)

Which is a pretty sad statement. A warm bread roll with some butter, a slice of bacon and smear of HP sauce. You get better in almost any greasy spoon cafe.
However. If it’s a bacon roll with HP sauce that you crave, what other airline can deliver that

Anybody had the burger?
Yep several times - some early flts dep some ports where bfst or brunch the main meal have limited BTC offerings so it was only choice having already eaten bfst before boarding - nothing to write home about - more a filler than anything

Wonder if you could swap meal after tasting the first mouthful? :p
I had the lobster out of Sydney and it wasn’t the best, tasted a bit off. As I didn’t want to be a PITA, I ended up drowning every mouthful of lobster with Krug. Yes, first world problem I know, but I seriously thought of swapping the meal, so bad that the next trip, I made a note to avoid it. The kyo kaiseki on other hand was supreme, thanks to the recommendation of an AFF. :)

I think from Cruiser’s prev comments you can change your mind on whatever you want or have BTC’d, , even though you may have already had two mouthfuls of it. I declined the whole meal once when I really couldn’t face any more food. The FA was a tad surprised but I suspect that it went down quite well back in the galley from whomever actually ate it.

My wife had selected a lamb dish out of ZRH which was not to her taste (overdone).

The FA saw that she wasn't enjoying it after a bite or two and proactively offered a replacement, he also said that there was plenty more caviar left as well so she ended up having about a 4th portion of that.

SQ FAs have treated us as royalty whenever we have flown in F. The only issue I could see is that not enough meals are loaded to supply a replacement but I doubt that will be the case.

ALL SQ R / F pax are treated as Royalty. As for running out of food - in 100s of flts have never seen it - as for the Krug / Dom / Reds - they are never going to run out.

I recently flew F on 777 from LHR. 3 out of 4 seats were occupied. They loaded 3 servings out of 3 of the main choices and 4 servings on the other one! They certainly weren't going to run out - they positively encouraged me to have another meal once I'd eaten my first choice :)

All booked. Lobster Thermadore on two sectors for me. Will report back after our trip.

Just in the TPR and asked where the lobster comes from that they serve here. She said she thought Boston. I don’t know if she is getting confused with Boston lobster. Anyway, I suggested they get it from Aus, it’s closer.

Good stuff. We'll be in Boston later this year so it will give us a good opportunity to really suss SQ quality.
