Bouquets for the FAs

I can't praise Qantas enough. I flew Qantas for the first time only last month and have loved every part of it, staff are more mature and friendly. I hope to travel on Qantas more often but due to costs I have to stick to Jetstar for now (mainly because my second base is OOL).

If I get a payrise or my expenses suddenly decrease I'm considering doing a Status/Points Run for the 500SC Loyalty Bonus and so I can fly on Qantas more :)

Rob on QF2 departing DXB on 23 April was excellent in the F cabin. Great service delivered well.

QF569 23rd April. Travelled business to Perth. coughpy 767 with no entertainment, not the usual 330. Obviously the crews fault, joking of course, but that was my mood. By the time dinner was served the crew had me smiling again, they made an uncomfortable journey pleasant. They were down to earth and extremely pleasant in a sincere manner. Hope Qantas appreciate the worthwhile people they have.

Sheridan from the Qantas Ski Club who ran the staff at Hamilton Island.

QF594 Thu 24 April. CSM Paul and FA Rebecca were excellent. Paul spike to most pax who were willing to chat, great food service and Rebecca kept patrolling the J cabin and refilling my water after the meal service whilst I worked, as well as asking whether there was anything else I wanted.

Captain Lisa and CSM Stuart on Sunday's QF494. Aircraft was late arriving MEL and had the potential for being caught by curfew, but they (along with ground staff) managed a 25 minute turn-around to have us landing in SYD only slightly behind schedule, with the Captain "taking on extra fuel" to make sure we kept good time. Polished cabin service by an experienced crew, with QStreaming working a treat

Although they look like they've seen better days in some areas internally, I will miss the 767 on domestic when they are retired.

PS - I think Captain Lisa may be featured on the Disney Planes video on QF Youtube. I don't think there would be too many B767 captains named Lisa!

QF722 ASP/ADL 26/05

Anny and Simone in Business - who says more experienced crew are sour, unengaged and don't give good service with a smile, not on this flight!

QF656 ADL/BNE 26/05

CSM Jane gave us fantastic service in Business, 10/12 seats occupied but she managed pretty much by herself. Had a chat to her late in the flight as she was interested in AFF.

We'll I just deplaned from QF11 SYD-LAX (June 5) a couple of hours ago waiting now for connection to SFO. Managed a points upgrade to First what a great experience. Sally greeted me as I got to my seat and introduced me to George who looked after me for the flight. These two FA's as well as being very welcoming and accommodating we're very friendly and you could sense that they really enjoyed their jobs which rubs off to the passengers and I felt very comfortable. I had the degustation menu and I let George choose the accompanying wines. Everything was done without fuss and even without me asking. It was as if they could read my mind. George seemed to be always one step ahead of me. Very professional staff.
Oh and PS, Sal makes that uniform look good ;)

CSM Pierre on the QF8 BNE-SYD tag (I hope I have the name right). Loved his inflight announcements - informative and even some humour thrown in as well.

QF128 (10JUN14) From the time I stepped on the aircraft right until I passed through the door on my way out I was superbly looked after by Rod and Amanda in the Premium Economy cabin, as well as Kip the CSS. In particular, Rod was one of the best QF crew members I have EVER come across. His friendly, jovial and caring nature make him a true asset to QF. He engaged every single customer in conversation, never once forgot a passenger's name and along with his colleague Amanda, was a constant presence in the cabin even throughout the night. As the only FFPL in the Y+ cabin he particularly spoiled me (and my seat neighbour for that matter!) with drinks and treats from the forward cabins. An excellent flight!

I have posted the details elsewhere, but Troy on QF6 on Monday 9th SIN-SYD went above and beyond. 27 years flying internationally and he is still enthusiastic and proactive. I was so impressed that I have written to QF to applaud his efforts, so hopefully his dedication can be recognised.

Just got off the phone to one of the senior international QF crew managers to compliment a few outstanding QCCA crewmembers. Ian, my CSM last week on QF94 has been on a few of my flights and he really is truly outstanding.

Damien working the J cabin on QF525 on June 7 was fantastic. Great service, and a top bloke to chat to. Made sure my mate traveling in Y on the same flight was looked after too.

I would like to recognise the great service my Mr. Brian Churchill, the FA on the J cabin on QF129 SYD-PVG flight on Friday, June 6th. He was very affable, courteous and delivered exceptionally smooth service.
He also kindly arranged help for us with on-the-ground staff when we had a tight connection. Great service overall!

Wayne Clarke and his team on the 621 (21/6) were great as were the crew on the 773 (21/6) which I didn't get their names (apart from Dani, but the CSM was amazing as well).

Traveling at the end of a trip with a tired 18 month old was always going to be a challenge (first time), but with the crew's help and ample entertainment, we were able to keep the young one entertained for both flights. Whilst I am at it, the family zones are great for those with young ones, it is a pity that there isn't a cordoned section for those families who have access to the J Lounge, but none the less a god send.

I know this is a Qantas forum, but I might as well share an experience on AA economy, as a WP.

Generally, service is just ok at AA, and complimentary food/alcohol is provided to OW Emeralds (sometimes you have to ask and flash the boarding pass).

On this particular flight from LAX to HNL, I received complimentary food/alcohol, warm nuts from First Class, bottles of water, free earphones, and a warm "welcome and thanks for flying with us, we really appreciate your patronage".

I feel terribel because I cannot remember their names, however the entire crew (Captain and FO included) on QF632 26/6 were amazing given the succesion of frustrating delays ex MEL and on into BNE.

CSM was very welcoming and given the high number of CL/WP's in rows 4-7 in Y she still managed to make a personal visit to all of us to check if we had any connecting flights etc and also once with the alcohole trolley from J that she brought down through the curtain... It was more of a QFi WP treatment than your typical QFd nothing which was well above what I was expecting.

The crew seemed to share the pax frustation about delays on the ground and in the air and the capitan was very communicative to the rest of us around what was going on. His joke on the ground in MEL after 30mins of sitting at the gate due to an ATC error (following a boarding delay of 20mins) "Ladies and Gentlemen, that sensation you're feeling is indeed the aircraft moving" received quite a few chuckles and another joke later on as we circled the gold coast got a few "Thank you's" yelled out from down the plane as we headed towards Brisbane.

The attitude of the crew really made a much longer than planned trip much more enjoyable and its been said before in this thread; but its the crew like these that give Qantas a good rep, and they are the reason I choose to fly with them.

Will send you a PM shortly red roo with some more details.

I would like to thank the CSM Sallyanne McMahon for outstanding service on QF825 DRW-BNE last friday,
I think that Qantas would be in a lot better position if a lot of their staff could gave the same
Genuine level of care and service that Sally showed not only to me but other pax as well, which also reflected through some of her cabin crew as well.

Great Work Sally

cheers

Red Roo: Sheridan on QF51, Saturday, 12 July.
Great attitude and service. She was working the PE cabin.

Will also send a note via Qantas website comments.

Cheers
BF
