A big thank you to Michael Olive on QF011 (SYD-LAX) on 13-10-2013. :D

He made a big difference to my wifes flight and our overall flight experience. Michael came back to speak to my wife and spent quite a few minutes making sure she was okay (after a bit of take off turbulence) and that she was happy now that the flight had settled, he even made sure she got the best medicine for her, a glass of bubbles :D

I have emailed Customer Care so hopefully he will get our thanks personally.

QF661 BNE/ADL today 7 Nov. At the door, saw Mayumi and used my limited Japanese to greet her. Well, did I get service from her for the rest of the flight - she was a bit surprised to hear good Japanese from a "gaijin".

The CSM did something unusual upon descent. He came to talk to each pax in J individually. He shook my hand and thanked me for flying Qantas today.

"You're loyalty is important to us"

QF660 ADL/BNE this morning. Top marks to the CSM and crew, service was excellent and as per QF WP's post on descent in the J cabin we were each thanked for being on the flight along with a small chat.

QF6 SIN-SYD Oct 1, the best crew ever! It was +1's birthday (a mere NB), so we got lots of perks: upgrade from Y to PE, amenity kits from J for both, and a free bottle of champagne!

Sonya on QF740 today is a star. Very helpful above and beyond the routine.

Terrible at getting names but on SYD-NRT on 14/11 all the downstairs J staff were great (sure the ones upstairs were as well) in particular the gentleman working the old F cabin was outstanding. Provided genuine caring service to everyone in the cabin.

Sadly I have never had such an experience! Did you happen to mention that it was a birthday, or did they already know?

QF128 10NOV. CSM Paula Kennedy was outstanding, greeted like a long lost friend.....same CSM 10 days before and no problem remembering!! Amanda working upper deck forward J also went above and beyond. Well done QF.

Toni Lockyer, recently J ADL SYD flight. Kudos for being the first CSM who has called me Mr. Mindthegap in every interaction for a long time. Very classy and almost a step back in time with how well the service was executed. Kudos all round. Certainly made me happy to be committed to QF

Have had four segments now with Kay Robinson - CSM on the 738.
Clearly loves her job and it shows in her interaction with the passengers.

Red Roo, you have a gem there.

CSM Fiona on QF978 and CSM Barry on QF663 on 15 December were both great :)

On QF2 on the DXB leg, leaving 11th Dec in F, Courtney, who was just fantastic! Great personality and she and others in F demonstrated why I like the 'traditional' Aussie team.

PM'ed thanks to Red Roo

Flew Y+ QF10 LHR to MEL on 17/12.

I can't recall names, but the lady doing the CSM greeting between DXB and MEL was very friendly and welcoming (I think she was the Customer Service Supervisor). She also remembered by name on exiting the aircraft in MEL, which was a very nice touch. Another male CSM came around and shook my hand later. He was also good, asked if I was being looked after etc.

The FA who sat in the right hand side jumpseat during takeoff and landing (DXB to MEL), in front of 24K and 24J was very friendly and had a chat to me and the person next to me. Made us feel very welcome before she headed off to J for cabin service. Again, can't recall her name, but she's a credit to Qantas.

The crew of J cabin on Mel - Dxb on 20th dec. it's a tale of never judging a book by its cover really because when we boarded (2 hours late ) the crew were not the youngest bunch, no disrespect intended, however they were fantastic at chatting to the passengers having a joke with us and professionally looking us, especially the wife who is 21 weeks pregnant and can't eat certain things.

Well done QF.

I nominate Glenys Davies-Brown who's a regular on the QF51/QF52 flights from BNE-SIN-BNE in Upper Deck J
