Bouquets for the FAs

Qantaslink crew on my 717 yesterday, great effort and very friendly. FA doing the exit row safety briefing was adding her own flair to make the familiar spiel a bit more interesting, but still very effective (perhaps people were actually listening rather than just tuning out ?!).

As an aside, and without any intent to detract from their professionalism or effectiveness as a crew which was top notch.... my goodness what an attractive bunch they were in the new Q uniform, even the young fella was looking quite dapper ! I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the new getup overall but this crew just wore it well.

My 2c worth.

Yvonne the CSS on QF51 yesterday. When I got to my Y seat, she had already placed J headphones on the seat. Came up to me right away and said I can move to the empty exit rows as I had a few seat mates. She and her team kept my drinks topped up all the way to SG.

Cheers
BF

A hearty thanks to Emma, Brendan and CSM Sven on QF0010 ex-DXB on 04JAN14 who looked after me in the F cabin during/after a severe bout of food poisoning caused by some dodgy fish on an EK flight out of FCO!

Last night's crew in PE on QF10 DXB-MEL were exceptionally lovely. Got a personal greeting, and an "anything we can do to make the flight more comfortable", an offer to ask people to swap seats so my partner and I could sit together (which was declined - all I wanted to do was sleep anyway, and I had the front row, extra legroom!) and lots of attention throughout the flight despite it being full. Huge contrast with surly BA crew last week, and even a contrast with the Emirates crew from LHR to DBX, who were very nice and certainly provided impeccable service but not as friendly as the Qantas crew. I didn't catch anyone's name but they deserve a big bouquet.

Shoutout to CSM Michael Judd who operated the OOL-SYD on 14 Jan. He saw my mother had her shoulder in a sling and immediately offered her a pillow, which was a nice gesture and helped her discomfort. He was also top class welcoming everyone on board and engaging with everyone. Couldn't fault his service at all.

And the Barramundi dinner was superb.........top marks all round.

We had CSM Sven on QF10 on 4th January out of Dubai (assuming there is only 1 Sven :)) Was a very nice chap who looked after us in J (especially the pregnant wife).

Just a thought RedRoo - maybe all these great staff members should be invited to comment/input on the future training of staff? They are obviously doing things right (hence the Bouquets)?

Considering that's the exact same flight I wrote about, you are correct, willjd! :p

I fully agree with your sentiment, and so do our management team.

Quite often, winners of the People’s Choice Awards are selected as mentors and to assist with training programs in their relevant departments and across the network.

Employee engagement is a priority at Qantas, and so staff are also encouraged to nominate their peers internally for formal recognition.

Red Roo, I personally experienced a number of positive and commendable experiences flying yesterday. However, I was only able to obtain first names, are you able to ascertain the recipient of the "bouquets"? How do we drop a note to say thanks for the positive experience? Is it to customercare at qantas dot com dot au?

Glad to hear you enjoyed your time with us yesterday. :)

Please do take the time to follow the link to the People’s Choice Awards to provide your feedback. We're be able to identify the crew member from your passenger and/or flight details, and also forward your comments to their manager.

Thanks Red Roo for the prompt response, I will certainly follow the links and insert details.

Thanks again

Flight QF51, BNE-SIN, today 18th Jan. All the crew looking after Premium Economy. Excellent work performed with grace and a smile. Thank you.

The very handsome and charismatic Sydney based CSM James Shortt and his crew Joshua, Lincoln and Shane were on my flights QF782 & QF649 from BNE - CNS & return today and certainly made my day. The other lady in my row enjoyed her bubbly too.

Then Russell in the Brisbane Qantas Club swapped my last boarding pass so I could fly ahead and be home before I was scheduled to leave BNE!

Thank you Qantas. Great service from these guys that obviously enjoy what they do.

CSM Simon looking after J on QF701 tonight, you rock! Thanks for making the flight that extra bit special with your personal touch to the service and being so gracious and kind. :p

CSM Annie and her fellow crew member in the J cabin on QF 767 BNE - PER on 18/01/14 . Were both very friendly, and went above and beyond for the duration of the flight, as well as doing everything they could for an unaccompanied child traveling in Y.

FA Roger on my flight QF632 MEL/BNE 24/1. I was in the Exit Row (13D) and his delivery of the presentation was one of the most polished I have ever heard. I wasn't the only one to comment - my seatmate 13F also said the same thing.

QF650 PER-BNE on 26th Feb (today). Managed a points upgrade to J and Gregory and the team did a great job in a full cabin. Efficient and friendly and complimented by good food well presented. Sent feedback to peoples choice award as well. Thank you!

QF925 CNS-SYD 5/3/14. CSM Norry, and FAs Soliza & Takako. Brilliant.

Second time I have flown with Norry on this flight and he has to be one of the best I have ever flown with; any airline, anywhere. A natural at quality customer service. JV

QF 762 21/4. Perth to Melbourne.

The entire J crew were absolutely fantastic.

My wife and I would like to especially thank Anne who just couldn't do enough for either of us. Her smiling face and very happy nature were a joy to witness.

I know we all have had our issues of late with QF and the changes to the FF program but with crews like 762 and especially Anne my wife and I will continue to fly Qantas.
