With a week to go, and a handy bump to the thread, I'd like to remind everyone that this an open invitation to attend a drinks night at the VA Lounge at Brisbane Airport. I've organised this with the lounge manager, and she is very keen for us to attend. I am hoping that there will be at least one if not more VA representative present and this will be the perfect time and place to give open feedback on what VA are doing right and what they could do better.

edit: I would appreciate it if you could post in the thread if you intend to participate, so that I can keep VA up to date on the expected numbers.

Trying to rub out the pencil in the diary and put it in pen (and arrange to see clients near the airport before the event to tie in).

I mentioned in a previous post that the plan is to meet outside the lounge in time to enter as a group at 6pm. As for a "to" time, there is no set plan, I guess when they kick us out?

I think quite a few of us are planning on catching the 5.41pm air train - which gets in at 6.04pm.
Personally I am going to try and catch the 5.11pm hoping it won't be so busy - also my Gold is arriving around 5.30pmish.
I always aim for the one earlier than I need as I invariably miss it by moments.

I'm keen to attend. The Airtrain timetable shows the 16:29 from Nerang arriving at domestic at 18:04, so the timing is pretty good.

There are a few of us taking the train. We agreed last night to all catch the train that arrives at the domestic terminal at 5:34pm. And we are all meeting in the front carriage.

Sounds like there will be more people on the train half an hour earlier. I'm going to aim for that one now, but it depends on the situation at home with kids being picked up, etc.
