Please let us know what you think. From making bookings it appears to only offer Queen and singles in the rooms. For 2 larger people I want a king bed room, regardless of price or loyaltyI'll be staying there the night before my European odyssey so I don't have to get up quite as early on the GC!

While proof is of course in the actual eating and visiting, everything so far looks good. The thought of empanadas and quesadilla for a snack or even a meal is pretty tempting.
Just curious but do they ever invite kiwi's from across the ditch to these events???

If Neil Perry is behind these Mexican dishes then I'm guessing 90% of them will contain the Devils herb, aka coriander!
You would have to pay your own way, tickets aren't included
Not unless it's Kiwi media, but even then, they'd not invite NZ media to the opening of a domestic lounge. An international lounge, more likely but also need to be worthwhile to Qantas (eg a lounge in a port where there are a lot of trans-Tas flights, and a substantial-enough lounge to make Kiwi flyers think of booking with QF instead of NZ).
Hopefully they get onto the Auckland Int Lounge sooner rather than later.
Not laughing, just a little smile. Ive got it booked for mid April, I didn't think it was opening till very early April
Considering QANTAS Club members can use the entry I think that should've been obvious to QANTAS. They should have one security line for WP/OWE/Business and another for SG/OWS/QANTAS ClubAUSBT now has the story about the Premium Entry being open. A couple of comments about needing two security lanes.
