Virgin Lounges open at 11am.
Ahhh that explains it. Thanks!
Are there any QF J DOM lounges open at 11? (I don't think so...).

Same goes for Coopers, haven't seen it outside SYD J lately.

Besides in ADL? Plus it was in the SYD QP a couple of weeks ago.
Japanese beer pouring machine?Whilst on the topic of beer, does anyone know what type of beer is served at the QF lounge in NRT ?
Some of those Japanese beers are mighty tasty.
While I havn't been to the Narita lounges, (Next month ... ) there are plenty of automatic beer pouring machine videos online.
Eg: YouTube - Auto Beer Pour in Japan
Way cool
Apologies if this has already been discussed, but I am really missing any sort of decent cheese in the J lounge. Previously one could enjoy cheese and a robust red. Now I'm pointed to the sandwich making area with its cheese slices when I ask for cheese.
Oh, the shame of it.
Keep asking and they should be able to bring you a plate of the proper cheese. Some staff will say no, you just have to find the right one.
I've never seen anyone in Adl QP bring around trays of food. Hope this is a sign of better things in the food dept given the awful meal service on Adelaide flights.
On the downside, they've got rid of Coopers Pale Ale on tap
I noticed this the other week too. I wasn't feeling great so didn't bother investigating, but definitely saw bowls being taken around. In the ADL QP right now.
I swear that waiters are bringing around bowls of hot chips!
Yum but my tum doesn't need the calories.
I'm trying to resist.
