Cathay "World of Winners" promo - discounted tickets to Hong Kong

Once you pick dates and booked can you change them? Mrs wants to go in December now...
There's a $450 fee + fare difference charge once you are booked in so might not be worth changing. Check your ticket might be different? Otherwise join the 90,000 long queue and rebook :(

Would I be right in saying all tickets are technically fully refundable, since T&Cs state that only taxes and surcharges are refundable and the ticket cost is made up entirely of taxes and surcharges?

Not that I'm looking to cancel, but would be handy to have up the sleeve!

Got a ticket! You can log out and log in to another account to book another one for another person but I ran out of time doing so and it reset. Oh well, 50% off for one person is still better than nothing!

I got to the front of the queue but getting the error message on booking page. Suspect they've all gone anyway.
Same here, I suspect this issue might happen if your network is not an individual network - like from a corporate one.

So far I have heard that the free tickets are for shoulder / low season anyway - well I still have options.

I tried leading up to, and then precisely 1200 (a few times, but it was still not open), and for a minute following, when it seemed to be still not open. Then I was distracted. At 1202 I successfully got a place in the queue: number 44523. Waited and watched until my turn came up at 1442. And all the tickets exhausted just before I got there. So... no banana. Or durian. Or trip to see my tailor. :-)

Congratulations to those who got lucky.
I managed to get to the front of the queue after being 21000 or so in the line.
Then got the error message and spent 15 minutes refreshing the page with no luck. Since you only had 15 minutes to complete the booking, I was put back to the end of the queue.

Glad I didn’t bother!
Got to be in it, to win it - or not win it
