Centurion 2011 Benefits

I am into my second year now. It took some time to work out where Centurion Travel and Concierge offers exceptional service, and when to give them a miss.

The posts on this site have been invaluable. I followed up on many suggestions and hints.

I signed up some family members for supplementary cards. The insurance benefits alone make the card worthwhile.

Member should be able to add one supplementary member as Centurion, with four supplementary members as Platinum.

I found this link thru Google...seems inadvertent error or likely a marketing ploy from Amex that provides more info to Centurion hopefuls or those who, like me, have invitation and are yet to decide if it's worth paying $4,300 for.

I received the 2008 bottle... I hope it was the 2002 one but it's better than nothing i guess.

Anyone else received the 2002 one??

Hmmm. It seems that AMEX is ranking us by bottle. I’ve received nothing so where does that place me...

Someone who paid $4,000 and didn't even get a bottle of wine?

$4,000? I’ve been a member since it was a whole lot cheaper than that - and the card was still plastic! Maybe they’ve got something really special for me... Nah, what am I saying - it’s AMEX. ;)

it seems its for everyone... so you will get urs...eventually
the question is which bottle... 2002 or 2008 or maybe a lafite if lucky

PS: I kinda like the box (container), quite different in my opinion.

Having only had the centurion for the last quarter, I have yet to take advantage of any benefits. That is until I received the CX Diamond Class invitation.

Thanks for the extensive list of benefits everyone.

What do you call somebody who livens up old threads?

Anyway...

There was some discussion here about the CX Diamond membership benefit. I just wanted to provide an update - I received mine in the post today. So any other Centurion members waiting on theirs should not have to wait too much longer.

Hi Homer,

This thread is good until the end of 2011, so it's not "Old" yet ;)

Just out of curiosity, did you receive your invitation to join or the physical CX Diamond Card?

Oh sorry. To be clear - I received the actual card (plus the two, very-metal luggage tags).

I submitted on the 13 May as well and my membership has not been updated online (still gold).

I called CX yesterday and they said they have never received the application.

Email sent to Amex last night and got a response this morning. They claimed that the application was processed on the 18 of May and allow 8 weeks... Sigh - Whats going on?!

Does anyone know if there is a fee for the Supplementary Member on Centurion? Does the Supplementary Member get all the same benefits? e.g. Hilton HH Diamond, CX Diamond etc
