Does anyone know if there is a fee for the Supplementary Member on Centurion? Does the Supplementary Member get all the same benefits? e.g. Hilton HH Diamond, CX Diamond etc

There is no fee for the Centurion supplementary card member. They do receive most of the add-on memberships, such as HH Diamond, Priority Pass, SPG Gold, etc, but they do not receive CX Diamond.

Interesting difference that in HKG the supplementary card member does receive CX Diamond. Though it's likely a useless point here.

Yes received mine in mail yesterday also - wonder what if any value I can get out of it over next 12 months.

Little value in pulling the trigger whilst holding top level status with QF & AA (OW), NZ (*A) and Virgin.

Will wait and see what QF and Virgin roll out for the uber elites over the next few months.

I received the 2008 bottle... I hope it was the 2002 one but it's better than nothing i guess.

If we are talking about the same wine that I got, the Howard Park Leston Shiraz then you should be glad that you got the 2008 instead of the 2002. The 2002 was at its peak a few years ago while the 2008 will be at its best from 2013-2016.

I would assume that 2002 one would have a different label. Any one got the 2002 and any comments?

FYI I wanted to let everyone know that we didn't get a bottle of red....

Maybe we haven't been spending enough? Though were upwards of $300k, so this aint that bad (is it?)

I didn’t get one either Hayden and our spend sounds similar. It could be random. Or maybe the bottle of red is for relatively new members? Maybe a bottle of wine which isn’t of a particular value might be deemed to be insulting more than anything else for certain members? (Like the one bottle I’ve received from QF because of an issue on a flight - not much more than a cheap quaffer and it only added insult to injury .

Still...if they send me a gift...I’d be chuffed. Anyone at Centurion reading this? Anyone...

Having re-read the letter that came with the wine, it stated the wine "is a token of my appreciation for your onging membership". Maybe it is for long standing members? FYI I have been with AmEx since 1991, moving through the grades and got Black in early 2004.

Ive been a member for 3 years now (paid the renewal fee late last week)

Got the Katnook Estate - Coonawarra Cab Sav - 2000

Havent opened it as yet, and generally put about 600-650k through the BAX each year

Hey Fuzzy, double check that you didn't get the 'Odyssey Cab Sav 2000', that one is still good and is ready to drink. But if you really did get the normal Katnook Cab Sav 2000 it is well past its best around 2002-2005. Anyway I would love to hear what you think of the wine when you do try it.
