The cars are due into Central at 9.36am. I'll be there to unlock them so people can leave their bags and grab a coffee if they want.

Don't forget, choose the correct train, the other will be there as well and be leaving only 10 mins ahead of us.........
ours will have one red locomotive and two blue and silver ones.

Quick one, more later.

At wolli creek you don't need to leave the station at all, go upstairs to the above ground platforms. Therefore you don't need a ticket to get out, only through the barrier where you get on.

This makes domestic/international to Wolli creek $5.

...and I had considered that, but a departure from Central (now there is sufficient time to get to the 'country' platforms) is more in the vein of the day.

As it is I plan to catch a suburban train from Carrum in about 5½ hours ... sleep beckons ... yawn ...

I'm planning on bringing my little Gorillapod (mini tripod that stands about 1ft tall with flexible legs) in my Hang Luggage, does anybody expect a drama at security?

I've only ever checked it in but seem to recall taking my full size tripod through as hand luggage somewhere once.......

And on that note bed finally calls. See you all at OOL/SYD/SYD Central in the morning!

I would have thought the Gorilla Pod is fine.

I've carried my current tripod through security multiple times including overseas. A gorilla pod should be fine.
