Christmas Drinks & Train Crawl Sydney to Canberra [Sat. 14 December]

Was talking to someone who was in Canberra this week. He said the nights were cold. I'm packing a jacket.

Everyone should note the downgrade in temperature for tomorrow. 23 in Sydney and up to 25 in Canberra with some showers around.

Certainly not cold but not hot hot either. Definately worth a cardigan for later in the evening.

Lovely weather, the cardigan may be a problem. I left the APS last year and burnt them. :mrgreen: Perhaps as a local you've got spares, preferably not brown ones.

Just checked the IHG app and it looks like I may have received the standard plat upgrade, Booked a king superior and the booking now states king park view

The cardigan has been well and truly replaced in the APS by polar fleece (with or without sleeves).

Last minute booker here (well with the CP anyway) and it was $190. If you want to join the rest of the gang in the CP call up and the weekend special should still be available at $190 or it's $205 online atm if you don't mind a double room instead of a king.

Arrivals access is inconsistent on VA. Sometimes I have no trouble (with angels), sometimes it is quite hard (with dragons). The published rules suggest it is available only on a "space available basis".
