I always choose minimum available, as in my mind (rightly or wrongly) I feel that might be helpful for my next application if there's an overlap in cards

If I am approved and given a mammoth limit I will most likely request that it be reduced.

I am planning to to this as well instead of I am transferring to Asia Miles.
Just wondering do you need to turn on auto sweep before the points land in your account?

I suspect so, cause it's a condition of the bonus points. If you take more than a month to hit your minimum spend you'll have time to turn it off. You get to select the date of the auto sweep.

Edit: Asia miles doesn't come up as an option for me? Only Flybuys, Krisflyer and Velocity

Less than a week, I was overseas at the time so wasn't paying close attention.

After turning the auto sweep off I manually transferred some to Krisflyer as a test, and although there was a generic warning saying the transfer might take up to 28 days, it took two

credit to @mokuni for the tip!

side note - the fraud alert team / system at Citi superfast and efficient. Twice I've made two payments to the same vendor in quick succession and Citi blocked my card and removed it from apple pay in minutes and told me via text. As soon as I replied to the text that it was a legit charge, the card (and apple pay) was immediately released, and the second charge honoured with nothing further required from me.

Hey all, I hit the minimum spending over a week ago, and until this momentn I did not get the points or the email. I conattced Ciit via phone twice, but the consultants are useless and only read and the T&C. Any advice on how I can speed up this? Need to book a trip for April with Virgin....

Just received the points.

I know it is possible to manually transfer the points before the sweep
But is it possible to turn off the autosweep and manually transfer at a later stage (when there is a transfer bonus)

Will Citi take back the rewards points if I turn off the autosweep but leave the points in the Citi account?

This card includes Priority Pass membership with two free lounge visits. I tried to sign up via the invite code on the Citi website but it didn't work. Has anyone else who recently took up this card activated their PP membership?

It worked fine for me.
Just a warning though, the two passes are only usable by the member. You can’t take a guest using your second pass, you need to pay $35USD for your guest.

Applied for the Citi prestige card & success.
Wasn't sure I'd be approved as bit of a churner, so pretty happy.

Decent chunk of 150k velocity points & find the priority pass very interesting.
Will slowly lose my VA WP so lounge access will depart or maybe replaced with this PP.
The 7hunj AF adequately saves a status run
