If I am approved and given a mammoth limit I will most likely request that it be reduced.I always choose minimum available, as in my mind (rightly or wrongly) I feel that might be helpful for my next application if there's an overlap in cards

I am planning to to this as well instead of I am transferring to Asia Miles.I turned mine off! Going to transfer to kff tomorrow and then close the card.
I suspect so, cause it's a condition of the bonus points. If you take more than a month to hit your minimum spend you'll have time to turn it off. You get to select the date of the auto sweep.I am planning to to this as well instead of I am transferring to Asia Miles.
Just wondering do you need to turn on auto sweep before the points land in your account?

Less than a week, I was overseas at the time so wasn't paying close attention. Thanks mate
How long does it take for the point to arrive after you met the spend requirements?
Wait until your statement period landsHey all, I hit the minimum spending over a week ago, and until this momentn I did not get the points or the email. I conattced Ciit via phone twice, but the consultants are useless and only read and the T&C. Any advice on how I can speed up this? Need to book a trip for April with Virgin....
It worked fine for me.This card includes Priority Pass membership with two free lounge visits. I tried to sign up via the invite code on the Citi website but it didn't work. Has anyone else who recently took up this card activated their PP membership?
Well that was pretty quick. Received an email before 9AM today saying application rejected. The following generic list of reasons provided:Applied for this today. Will update re my experiences.
Clearly not. Only my 2nd rejection in more than 150+ churns.Pretty easy to get approved on this card
150!!! I get through a few a year but that is impressive!Clearly not. Only my 2nd rejection in more than 150+ churns.
how long did you have wait before re applying for one?150!!! I get through a few a year but that is impressive!
I applied and got approved for this. I have been declined by Citibank in the past, I suspect on too many cards recently closed or opened. I don't even get asked to provide documentation for my rental income (possibly as I already hold the prestige card with CITI they were happy to trust that I pay on time?)
But I only applied for this card as I was rejected by ANZ after hours on the phone, who have approved me in the past.
It's so hard to know what is worth a credit score hit and what isn't.
I don't even know if the credit score holds much weight any more.150!!! I get through a few a year but that is impressive!
