Citibank Plus - No Fee No Overseas Transaction Fee Account

Question..... Thailand is known for ATM fees, are you saying you've found a fee free one? :)
I used it yesterday and checked my Citi account online just now. It shows the withdrawal and no fee. I will check again in a day or two incase it is lagging behind the initial transaction. I did not note the ATM brand, but I will be on the BTS again tomorrow, so will look out for it.

Nice one. Am in BKK on Monday - assume you're gone by then?

Has anybody had any issues transferring funds into the citibank account?
I tried to send my first lot of money across last week and its been denied and sent back to commonwealth... The BSB and Acct Numbers were correct and both banks are blaming the other...

not me. just put in a decent sum to the savings account for a large payment to work the prestige card

No issues here. Saying that, I normally do a seed (test) transfer of say $50 to a new bank account (and save the account in my internet banking list) to make 100% sure I have the right details, then transfer a larger amount the next day.

This was a $20 test to see if it worked... Didn't.

Fantastic JessicaTam. Any chance that the link could be placed as the first post for ease of access? Or alternatively, can you advise how I can shortcut the link?

Great job :)

Ctrl+D (or Command+D for Mac) should add it into your bookmarks.

Pay attention robd! ;)

I added it to the first post of this thread yesterday when I created the spreadsheet. :)

I have added a few to the spreadsheet....I suspect the card will work everywhere where Visa is accepted. Maybe we should have a list of countries where it is NOT accepted;)
I did not try using it in Havana, Cuba as i brought a lot of Euro cash with me.

It's not about whether it's accepted or not....... but more so whether a transaction fee is charged or not ;)

In my mind, even if there is a transaction fee, it still is the best way for getting foreign currency. ..from memory, the places where I have used the card that had a transaction fee include USA, Thailand and the ATMs at BCN airport. ..you still use the ATM regardless;)

Interesting re: BCN, have never been charged for using an ATM there...
