I think that the standard limit is AUD1000 equivalent in foreign currency. Not sure if it's been mentioned already on this thread but does anyone know the maximum you can withdraw at an ATM each day on this account when overseas?

Not sure if the amount has changed but you can phone up and get the daily limit increased. Mine is set at AUD $3,000 which was the maximum at the time

Is there somewhere in Aus that I can pay in actual folding cash onto the card?

Australia Post outlets.
It is just a normal bank account. Head in to a Citibank branch and they will happily deposit in to your account. Alternatively deposit cash in to another bank (any) and just do a standard transfer.
the instruction is to press credit when paying for something, and when putting money onto it, press savings is that right?
It's a Visa debit card, just like any other bank ATM card, so you can press SAV for all transactions.
When overseas, "credit" works for cash withdrawal. Not tried the savings button.
4 business days and my direct credit transfer is still listed as 'not available' even though it was received by Citi on the same day of transfer.
Told today it could take up to '10' working days to verify the deposit
Lodged a FOS complaint
This is pathetic given that you cannot transfer in the absence of real cash (credit) in your originating account - unlike a written cheque
Any similar experience?
Makes no sense. Did you use the transfer to another bank function of whatever bank you normally use, then transfer into your Citi Plus checking account using Citi BSB 242200 ?
