Citibank Plus - No Fee No Overseas Transaction Fee Account

...
Will there be additional charges as a result of this change?

No. The fees and charges for your account remain the same.

But....
International Transaction Fee 2.50%
Charged for all overseas ATM and electronic point-of-sale transactions made in a foreign currency using your Citi
Visa Debit / Citi Debit Card. For Citi Visa Debit transactions, this amount includes a 1% service and assessment fee
payable by Citibank to Visa. This fee will be charged as a percentage of your withdrawal amount. ...
Hmmm - that's rather contradictory isn't it.

Though it does mention "Visa" and as we know there's no 2½% currently being charged.

I've called up Citi and the rep didn't definitively know the answer / will call me back in two days.

I think the next best alternative is Macquarie Bank Debit card...

Any advice on using this card in Indonesia (Bali - Canggu)? Was planning on using this for cashout, but haven't been to Bali in a while and can't remember if ATMs are abundant or inexistent

The new replacement table in the "Schedule of Fees and Charges for all banking products" at Citi Australia does not seem to have "Excludes Citibank Plus Transaction Account and Citibank Online Saver" in the title (unlike the original - now replaced table), so I do fear the worst....

They are not replacing the table - just one entry in the table.

Seems to be a very crucial entry:

Clicking through on the link you provided, still says excludes Citibank Plus transaction and Citibank online saver.

Can someone confirm to move money from debit card online you just add payee(yourself) and transfer any amount of money out?
No charge right?

no. Its always been that way. It's a table that applies to all Citi cards apart from a select number

Re: Citibank Everyday Plus - Free overseas ATM withdrawals!

I received an email today telling me that my replacement debit card will be a Mastercard instead of VISA. I wonder if this will have much impact on the exchange rate used for overseas ATM withdrawals...?

yeah, quite a few changes!
time to close the account, too many fees & charges now.

From Whirlpool:
Footnote 2 on page 2 under the 'Product Fees and Charges' table is retained.

That includes an exclusion of the Citibank Plus account from 'Citibank Fees'. Said fees include the International Transaction Fees.

Therefore, there is no change.

Also an ozbargain member confirmed no change with telephone operator

Maybe not in relation to the visa mastercard change but possibly due to the change indicated as follows:

I still remember the devaluation of Citibank rewards points without prior notice (since fixed up) but it does makes me cautious about any 'enhancements' Citi does.

This is what was in the notice I received:
