Coles gift card offers

Ahhh...that's why $100 Coles MCards suddenly in short supply Sunday night at local (smallish SYD lower north shore) !!!
Not surprised. Last time they all went missing at stores I visited. Could get a small quantity of $100 from behind the counter as they weren’t in as heavy demand as the $250 last time but none on the rack.

Ended Thanks for the heads up. Ended up picking up a $200 card at Coles today (bought a $300 last month). Plan on buying these as the offers appear in anticipation of using them for the new iPhone whenever Apple releases that.

So I will (hopefully) buy 3x (5x $100 GCs) over 3 FB accts netting 30000 FB pts which is equivalent to 15000 Velocity points at a total cost of $75 or 0.5 c per Velocity pt.
Finally found 15x $100 GCs...wasn't easy!

I haven't been chasing these (it's quite often a 10% offer comes along soon afterward) but I found plenty of stock in the two I've visited

It definitely won't be next week as I already know that's going to be 10% off Binge/Kayo/Flash, Event Cinemas, Village Cinemas, The Iconic, Cotton On and Gourmet Traveller gift cards. I'd be surprised to see 10% off Mastercards again before October but they've been doing strange things with the promotions this year so you never know.

Got 5 x $100 gift cards yesterday but operator stuffed around and I got flustered and then clean forgot to scan my Flybuys card . I went straight back into the store and they added my card to the transaction but I have a gnawing feeling somewhere that bonus points aren't awarded if the card isn't scanned during the actual transaction. Is that ringing true for anyone else?

I've done this a couple of times and the points (standard and bonus) always came through. If you did this yesterday the points should be showing on your account now or within the next or hour so.

I really go to town when the 10% off offer is on. More recently the promo has been linked to the FB account with 5 GC purchases per day allowed....this promo is 5 GC per FB account....hope this is not the new way. :(

How do you know what they are so early? Hoping for more AirBNB and Apple Cards soon :o

Airbnb is quite hard to predict but I can tell you that the Woolworths promotion starting this Wednesday will be 20x EDR points on Apple gift cards. I realise we're in the Coles thread but I mention it because it's quite possible that it will be the last promotion on Apple gift cards at any shop until November. Despite 2022 having a 20x points offer on Apple gift cards every 2.5 weeks on average, there were none at all during September and October, presumably because that's when the new iPhones are released.

Of course, if you absolutely must collect Flybuys points then there will almost certainly be a Coles offer on Ultimate or TCN cards before long. Those can be used to buy Apple gift cards at JB Hi-Fi but it's a far less elegant option.
