Yes, they are vulnerable to BIN attacks and the general wisdom is to use them as soon as practicable

When I tried to buy from them a couple of weeks ago ANZ put a freeze on my card. When I rang I was told they are regarded as a potentially fraudulent site. I think I’ll take their word for it!
All gift card selling sites are marked as potentially fraud as most people who steal credit card details use them to purchase gift cards .

I’ll take your word for that but the representative talking to was keen to tell me (and repeated it 3 times) that it was the site that was the problem ie while not stated there was no suggestion they were concerned about the person making the transaction. Three of those warnings occurred after I confirmed it was indeed me trying to buy. Read into that what you will.

Currently 10 % off $250 coles MasterCard at gift cards.com.au
I'm giving Giftcards a miss like many other people (see Ozbargain site) who recently tried to buy Airbnb gift cards via giftcards.com; the payment was accepted but no gift cards were received. had to phone up , wait in the queue, and request a refund to my CC.

I bought 8 and 10 today without a problem, although the 18th took longer to arrive. Possibly my ISP.
I have used 12 without any issues.
But it's not like I'm not nervous.

How did you get more than 10. If I try to buy 11, as the maximum charge is $2,500 at a time, it refuses until I reduce it to 10. When I tried again, it would go all the way to processing then decline the payment even though the card issuer says there's nothing wrong on their end. I think there's a limit of 10 per day. I'd be happy to be wrong - though I imagine without a limit, some buyers might buy so many that it will kill the offer.

Last time there was an offer there were comments here that there were problems going over 10, so I tried 8 and 10 in separate transactions today with no problems. I used them up, so I just tried another 5, but it is hanging at the payment stage. Perhaps another device will work, but I have had enough for tonight.

I tried in another browser (I use Edge in Windows 11 and used Chrome having deleted all history and cookies) but no dice.
