The T3 entrance to the tunnel is near the Gate 2 exit - go out and down the escalator to arrivals then a little loop around down some more escalators to the tunnel.

You then can walk, use the travelators or both and keep going past the station entrance (wich is 2/3 of the way down on the left) until you head up the escalator at the end to T2 arrivals.

Then loop around to the left and up another escalator to T2 Departures. Look ahead and across for security and proceed through.

Head right after that and the QP is on the left at the corner of the concourse and the JQ/QantasLink Pier.

Thanks guys!!!

I'll try in CNS first, if that fails I'll aim for T2 as it sounds like the T3 QP is a waste of time.

Although if it's the gate 2 exit, perhaps I can quickly try the transfer desk first ;)

I'm checked in, now. Web document printed. It says to take the print out to the web check in counter at the airport. Any reason to not try this in ADL?

I didn't think you could do OLCI with JQ more than 24 hours before?

I just did OLCI but when I went to print the document it said it had timed out:shock: and there was no going back!
Hope this isn't a problem at the airport.
We will have to check in at T1 as we have a bag to check. (going to NZ on Sunday)

Are you driving up to SYD Fifa? If you were flying CBR QF x/SYD JQ MEL I wonder if they'd check your bags through as it's really a QF dom to JQi scenario except a lot of airport people would say "we can't check bags through to JQ domestic". They should just let the system try it as it would be no go if it was a JQ domestic flight number however despite you only taking JQ35 SYD/MEL Altea treats it as an international connection as it's an international flight number.

IMHO it's no different to flying CBR QF x/SYD JQ DPS which is where JQ35 goes after MEL.

I just tried to do OLCI but it said I had to check in at the airport. How did every one else check in?. Maybe I have been allocated an exit row.
This throws my well thought out plans out the window to reprint at T2 QP.

Did you book JQ35 on the JQ website or on the QF website?

Did it still allow you to print out the bit of paper which is not an actual boarding pass but confirms that you attempted to OLCI. Note that last time people did this when they got to JQ checkin at BNE Domestic, they said "oh it's showing all of you as already being checked in" & hence they were able to do the reprint.

48 hours with JQ, Web Check-in - Download your boarding pass or receive it via email or SMS before you go to the airport | Jetstar

I just used the tab 3rd from the right.

Also QF to JQi is technically allowed to interline baggage, but as you say you need to find someone who will do it. I'm not sure why others have had problems with it. Maybe a slim chance but can you try again. If it tells you your already checked in then it would be worth trying the reprint my BP thing.

Neither, I booked over the phone for a Tiger price match. The website did not allow OLCI for this flight the section was greyed out but it allowed the return flight to be checked in.

I would have thought that even booking via JQ res due to the TT price match that you should be able to OLCI, or at least attempt to.

I rang customer service and she said there was nothing wrong with the booking and just to try later. I tried to OLCI when she was on the phone but it was the same. No go. Her advice was just to check in at the airport. I asked her for my seat number and she said that a seat had not been allocated to me. I am starting to worry.

No, we flew DJ from CBR and are staying in Sydney for a couple of nights. (I'm spreading the love and lounge visits around!)

But I will certainly try that trick in the future and see if it works.
