Got mine today. Came in an unusual sized envelope. Haven't read details yet but was wondering if I can 'freeze' my QF gold for 12 months. Does it matter? Confused.

Is the offer only for the primary card holder or can the supp card holders get it as well or instead of :?:

I am in a similar position, and so called and asked about using it for a supplementary. But alas, no. Primary cardholders only.

I have not received the offer either. I did get "The cornerstones of a Platinum life" booklet yesterday.

I missed out on the Amex charge card free CX gold too, pitty I fly with them twice a year, have sent Amex email asking why.

From my reading it was only the primary card holder (and mention made that of you close your Amex account, you would lose the status as well)

I was looking for an end date for the promo, so I could leave the application as late as possible!

I have not received the offer either. I did get "The cornerstones of a Platinum life" booklet yesterday.

I've received three mailings from Amex recently:

- the lifestyle offers promo with the various events you can pay to attend like the Grange tastings last week

- the big envelope with the CX Gold offer earlier this week

- the Platinum Life booklet yesterday

If you don't get the CX offer soon I would ring them and chase it up.

I was looking for an end date for the promo, so I could leave the application as late as possible!

Has anyone found out if there is an end date? I'd also like to leave it as late as possible to apply.
