Other reports in the media suggest that he had already been informed that he would be left out of the side for the third test. I think that this will cause a few of the other players to feel a little less secure in the side as well.

Of all the bars I could have picked to have a drink on Friday night, I managed to choose one full of the Barmy Army. Didn't notice till someone in the group I was with asked if anyone else had noticed the music (all English stuff). They were enjoying themselves, and didn't seem to mind us winding them up about how the series was going.
