We're in the lead now, although losing 2 wickets in the process, both Johnson and Smith gone in 1 over. 8 down, but the tail is having some fun.

LOL. We should have more tailenders and get rid of Watson, Rogers and the Marsh brothers.

From the commentary:
103.5
Ashwin to Hazlewood, FOUR

over the wicket again. Maybe this will work
103.6
Ashwin to Hazlewood, FOUR

That's not bad for a no. 11.

It is now tea on day 3, with the score at 9/503.
Lead is 95 runs, with Starc reaching his 50 a short while ago.

The 4 full time bowlers have added 193 runs to the total so far.

This is a big wicket. 1/41.

10.3
Starc to Vijay, OUT, bowled him! The line did him there. It was angling across, and so close to off stump that Vijay was in two minds about whether to play or leave. By the time he chose the latter option and raised his bat to leave, it had only gone up far enough for the ball to strike it and cannon onto the stumps
M Vijay b Starc 28 (39b 4x4 0x6) SR: 71.79

The worst of the Australian averages is Lyon who averages 14-15.

And you take the 9-10-11 for India averaging 6, 6, 4 for a total of 16. And it's not like their bowling averages are anything to write home about either.

Funny how a games changes that quickly. Earlier in the day most people would have been thinking India's score was going to give them decent lead. Can anyone see India batting long enough to save the match?

They have 9 wickets, and need to last about 4 sessions or may be pray for some rain. It can be done.

My seat, but there's no need to go outside as the Club is empty - less than 200 here. So we are sitting inside in the airconditioning at our table ready for lunch.

Then before I finished my first beer:

I got to see the next three wickets live

Now the next one :D

Over before the end of the day?

News on Dhawan. My guest was watching the Indians practice in the nets next to the QCC. He saw someone get hit on the arm from a ball thrown by one of India team staff. He wasn't wearing an arm guard. Wonder if he will come out,

Matt the beer man at the outside bar, he's having an easy day today.

Life is tough ;)
