So my swimming thought paid off, they are all out for 475

But India strike early with Dave Warner out:

But Rogers is taking up the fight, smacking 4's :D

Another 2 wickets have fallen - Rogers for 56 and Marsh for 1. Thank God for Smith leading the charge again:

Because it depends on why it's being reviewed. If the umpire isn't sure I think it can be reviewed for legal delivery but not for example if the batsman actually hit it.
It was reviewed whether the batsman hit it or not. Video evidence inconclusive. Batsman gets benefit of the doubt. Simple.

Forget which team you barrack. That was a cruel decision. India should feel hard done by. Each dubious decision that has gone against them has had an influence on the match. None more so than the non wicket in Adelaide that gifted the match to Australia.

With 50/50 luck this series could have been even. Don't get too carried away with Australia's performances. This is an ordinary team that has again been saved by 3 players.

Agree about Aust performance. The pitch is dead, the bowling not good from Indian perspective (also Aussies) and many dropped catches. It certainly isn't a good yardstick and I reckon Lehmann knows it.

Care to nominate which 3 players you are referring to?

While probably not traditional test cricket the last hour or so today was rather entertaining don't you think!

Smith, Warner and Rogers. The bowling has been ordinary. And we have won a few good tosses.

Yes we can be entertaining at times but test cricket doesn't need a slog all the time.

Can't have too positive a slant on things can we! ( I guess you did read that I wrote not traditional?)

Should be declaring overnight is the goss, good luck to India on a wicket that is turning,

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. A slog batting opening attack will likely unsettle our inexperienced bowlers and allow India the chance for a win.

We should declare overnight...if we can get Kohli out say for less than 75, we will win; if he scores >120, India will win. Pitch is spinning sharply though (and keeping low for the quicks) so i think Australia should be (just) favourites even with an overnight declaration:idea:

Hope Smith doesn't declare too early. I'm not after a 'contest'. I'm after a win!
Pitch isn't going to be easy to bat on tomorrow. Well not for the Indians anyway. They struggled to get to 3 runs an over in their first innings so cannot see them getting 4 runs an over in their second innings.

Given we slogged 213 runs in a session, I'm not sure if the current target is enough.

There is no way I would declare and give India a chance of winning. They are some of the better exponents of playing spinners on turning wickets.

Batting is very important for the rest of our 2015 campaign

So why not bat for as long as possible instead of going for quick runs?

Am I the only one who thinks England in England is not a walkover and we cannot afford to go there with passengers who are not going to consistently contribute.
