Delicious meal. This place was very busy with people still queuing at 3pm.

Put this one on your list for Tromso.

Having accomplished our "light mission" it was time to leave Tromso. That means flying SAS to Oslo.

The gift that is TK SM is still delivering... another small fortune saved in baggage charges - it was time to check out the SAS lounge.

Three words - small, quiet, basic...

We were only overnighting in Oslo ... due to a stupidity booked 7.30am BA flight to LHR/ORY the next day.

For convenience we decided to stay at the Radisson Blu airport hotel. The hotel is a very short undercover walk from the terminal.

We arrived early in the morning - so we dropped the bags in storage and caught the flytoget (express train) into Oslo for a day of sightseeing.

Next stop was the Fram Museum - this is the place to visit if you're into polar explorers.

http://www.frammuseum.no/Visit-the-Museum/Fram.aspx

The museum has a couple of ships on show...

The Fram - the ship that got Roald Amundsen to the South Pole before Scott.

The Gjoa - the ship that got Roald Amundsen through the Northwest Passage.

Very interesting museum - worth a visit.

After dinner we walked to the station to catch the flytoget back to OSL.

Can't recall seeing this before. Have seen plenty of charging stations - never the actual charge.

This is what a Radisson Blu OSL family room looks like.

BA Y OSL-LHR

OMG hour checkin - thank goodness for airport hotels!

ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1454719818.520751.jpg

Checkin and security was a breeze - complete shambles after that.

Immigration was conducted well within the airport, passed the DOM gates however, no one was manning the booths. The queue was a mile long, and time was ticking. Someone turned up around an hour after we joined the queue ... the flight was called within minutes of getting through. No lounge time today ☹

Problem at the gate - issued new BP's right down the back! Someone must have wanted those exit row seats...

Anyway, we got front row seats for the Ice show.

Another visit to the humdrum T5 BA F lounge ... couldn't be bothered to take photos.

Discussed our earlier issue in OSL (exit row seating) with the lounge Angel. Apparently, BA system saw our youngest as <12 ... Long story short - she said she would sort it.

Paris - love it!

We've already dragged the kids around Paris - so we don't have to worry about lining up for the major attractions:D

We have four days in Paris, walking, eating, drinking and doing a few things we haven't crossed off the list yet - beautiful!
