It was a lovely day, and she was looking good!

This photo sums up the big decline in tourists visiting Paris ... let's hope those %*^#* don't succeed in changing Western society.

We noticed the lack of tourists ( and beggars) just before Xmas. Even the trains and planes we travelled on were quiet. We all commented on the difference this time compared to previous trips

I have never seen so few people under the tower, even early in the morning. Wonder if it will have started to recover when we get there in June?

So Amaroo, did you get on a Seine cruise boat? Perhaps that is still to come.

We were there early/mid Jan - huge drop in numbers compared to past visits. Didn't have to queue for anything. Our flight from LHR was 2/3 empty.

Struggling to recall any footpath sheet traders or beggars.

Gorgeous weather.. Fabulous photos.. But what were you doing on those previous visits?? Up the arc was one of the first things I did..
Haven't been on the seine cruise though.. Generally never looked appealing.. But..
I have to say that doing the cruise from Melbourne CBD to Williamstown on AFF annual gave me an amazing perspective of the city I live in :) so I can see the appeal :)

Did you spot this from the top of the Arc?

Just kidding, but I do love that view down Ave Kleber towards Trocadero, with the Eiffel tower behind that you posted.

Classic walk in and sit down... the meal was decent enough.

Can you believe we've clocked up >30 days in Paris and haven't gone up. Have tried a few times but the queues were always massive ... sadly, this wasn't an issue this visit.
