Can you believe we've clocked up >30 days in Paris and haven't gone up. Have tried a few times but the queues were always massive ... sadly, this wasn't an issue this visit.

Pffft. Lame excuse.
 
I know. We still have big item things to tick off in Paris too. Versailles. Givenchy.

try cycling around Versailles - have done it twice now - great experience. Picnic by the grand canal after buying supplies in the market.

Fontainebleu is in easy reach from Gare de Lyon (where the famous Le train Bleu restaurant awaits for a visit on the way back). We were able to use our Paris Visite train/bus ticket (Zone 1-5) to get there and thought it was fantastic.

An outstanding meal and wonderful atmosphere! I wish I could eat here every week.
