Current Qantas First Lounge Menu (SYD/MEL) and relevant topics

Excellent Spring menu. Neil Perry Consulting has done quite well this round.

Duck salad, burrata, lamb, casarecce, snapper noodles, profiteroles

Also had apricot chicken from the 50 year menu, not pictured

Decanter wine was a pretty nice Levantine Hill cab sav, though I do miss the YY

Nice job. That’ll help me decide what to have in a few weeks!

Has anyone snapped pics of the 50 yr menu? How long will it be around?

It’s one of the attachments in my post above
Ah, I missed it. I only noticed the cover page - that red velour really leapt out! 😂

Fortunately that was redone by the ‘90s when I started visiting the SYD international dungeon.

That actually does look good. Will be visiting for a few hours on Tuesday so will hopefully sample a few. How did the tag come about? Gift from the desk? WP, P1 or F gift? Travelling as a P1 in J this time... so no day before spa booking for me. How has everyone been going with the spa bookings on the day? Do they keep a few slots open for walk ins or do F pax on QF1 gobble up the lot in the afternoons?

I'm curious about this too. In fact, about the whole 50 years of lounges thing. Usually Qantas would make all sorts of noise when it comes to these sorts of anniversary events but I don't recall seeing anything about this?

I managed to snap up a slot prior to QF81 last month

I only came across it here:

I was in the F lounge two weeks ago and no mention of 50 years. Did it come in with the spring menu?

Must have as was no mention when I was in SYD F on 31st July or LAX F on 30th August.
