A shame there's no pavs! Summer and pavlovas... classic....

Still, have to admit, a tough pick from the granita or the trifle (unless the trifle is poorly done / conceived - hope not).


At least two dishes there with Japanese inspiration. Interesting.

The pork with pickled peaches sounds intriguing. I'd give that a go.


Overall, not a bad selection.

Thanks for posting Red Roo. Salmon sashimi, pork rillettes and tagliatelle for next Thursday's lunch I think Hmmm.. They are all champagne or white wine courses. I might have to partake of the Petaluma Merlot when I retire to the plane spotting seats afterwards.

I generally do not taste the Delamotte, but of the other three I would progress, in order (and quite often do): Veuve, Bollinger, Taittinger.
