Current Qantas First Lounge Menu (SYD/MEL) and relevant topics

Do all AFF members reveal themselves by taking photos of their tucker in the flounge? ;)

A week or so ago I was short of time to food up for the o/night JQ* to HNL so had the ducky w' lentils AND then the Mulloway, both were delish. As I was due to board momentarily and so without due consideration, I ordered some fancy ice cream which is often not that interesting to me at the best of times. This one had little balls on it that may have been more lentils or maybe coco pops.

A big shout out to the fabulous AFFer who shouted me a quick visit to the Flounge to meet her - hope your Orlando Disneyland trip went well!

It's been 5 months since I've enjoyed a visit to the FLounge... and I have no booking that will get me there any time soon

Just out to lunch with Mrs Paddy at one of those trendy little cafes in suburban Sydney (Wahroonga) and so I tried their Salt & Pepper squid.... urgghhh

Been spoiled forever by the FLounge !

Re: F Class Lounge Menu

Can someone please remind me how early you can check in at Sydney for an international flight. I've got a 3pm international flight coming up and want to maximise time in the Flounge.

With checked luggage - subject to trail as mentioned or 3 hours otherwise.

With HLO - anytime day of departure with OLCI ...

Thanks
Three hours is probably plenty to allow time for spa time and eating. But 4 would be better so I might just wing it and hope the trial is still operating

Or with long layovers...

FWIW, there is only so much which one person can eat and drink (especially when boarding an international flight shortly thereafter where you will continue eating and drinking).

I usually book the "Private Business Suites" on long layovers in MEL and SYD. You can be quite productive, join teleconferences, and get a lot of work done in these wonderful quiet rooms.

And in the case of SYD, get hot and sweaty in them ;)

Yeah, the little Dyson air con isn't the best, and it isn't included in the main air con unit ... I actually leave the door open some of the time in SYD... MEL is far superior in this case :p

How many rooms does MEL have?
Wonder if I should book one next weekend for the girls and I as we will be there for 3+ hours

Can someone pretty please PM me the current MEL F number?
The one I have stored is wrong and the one on the website is the J Lounge. Have been given a bit of a run around so far :(
