I am in there on Thursday. Really hoping the croissant bread and butter pudding sticks around. Not hopeful as it strikes me as a winter dish.
No same Winter menu today, but still good.
Liked the Perrier Joubert champagne and the IB Pinot Rose, along with the Killicanoon Mort's Block Riesling. Also had a 2010 Rockford Shiraz.
Oh, the food: Salt and pepper Squid, Buffalo Mozzarella with Roast Capsicum and Cabbage, Minute steak with Horseradish butter, and for desert; Poached Quince, Hazelnut and Vanilla Gelato. All good.
Now thinking about a single malt before off to HKG - will try champagne at The Wing F for brunch before continuing to BKK.

Well posting from the Flounge. I had my first experience here Which was some what extended due to a almost 5 hour delay of QF1. After my meeting i decided to depart and head straight to the airport rather than attempting to find an empty desk in the Sydney office. Breezed through security and was in the lounge 10 mins after i arrived. Only to sit down to a message telling me of the delay.
Have taken full advantage. The coughin lamb with egg plant was delicious. The sweetness provided by the cinnamon and carrot perfectly offsets the bitterness i usually associate with eggplant.
The pavlova in a cup surprisingly tasted like a real pavlova, was not expecting that! all and all it has been a pleasant first experience and i suspect i experienced more than most!
